Denzel Curry Says He’s Quitting Rap Indefinitely

Denzel Curry has taken leave from his music and public life, effective immediately. In a series of cryptic posts on Twitter, Denzel took a slight step back, hitting at fickle friendships, self fulfillment, and most importantly to us at hnhh, the importance of editorial integrity. Immediately following the announcement, he cleared his post count on IG, and edited his bio to read ‘bye.’

He followed that statement with an ominous good ‘bye.’ Fans were quick to respond with genuine concern, a few taking the occasion to inform Curry of the impact his music had played in their lives.

Unsurprisingly the announcement sparked major concerns among his fans. Denzel sensing panic, then climbed on Instagram to add further insight onto his condition. Denzel confessed that his heart was simply not in it at the moment, but that his fans are very much in his thoughts.

Denzel Curry made sure to leave on a graceful note, offering his fans a dedication of his love. We sincerely hope this self-granted leave of absence will work wonders on his psyche. Denzel is a rare specimen in the rap game. We should consider his privacy going forward.
