The Struggle Is Real’ is the debut mixtape release. Each track samples the work of classical composer Ludovico Einaudi and has been lovingly remixed, featuring Wisebowm’s often ludicrous and pompous lyrics. Subject matters include motivating creatives to start writing, the struggles of suffering from a bad back and a track dedicated to showing the world how grateful and blessed Wisebowm is for his ‘success’

Steve is a writer, director, producer and performer with a propensity to write a very serious biog. His comedy sketches and parody music videos have earned his YouTube channel a nomination for ‘Best Internet Programme’ at the British Comedy Awards, and he has featured in numerous publications, including Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, The Metro and more. His 2017 Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Wisebowm: The Struggle Is Real’, received 5 star reviews and he subsequently created a BBC Radio 4 sitcom, based on the show in 2019.

Steve’s award-winning debut short film ‘Swiped’ won the 2019 Silver and Peoples Lovie Award. It was also nominated for the 2019 Edinburgh TV Festival New Voices Award for best pilot and is an official selection at numerous Oscar & BAFTA qualifying festivals. Steve has been selected for the BFI Network x Bafta Crew 2021 and is currently developing his sitcom project ‘Woke Heroes’ for Channel 4.
