‘Something Won’t Let Me Drown’ @Lanzaretta [TRK]

SOMETHING WON'T LET ME DOWN IMAGE

Soul singer and songwriter, Lauren Lanzaretta, released her 11-track debut album, Naked Soul, in June of 2014 which was welcomed with positive reviews. Jeff Neisel of the Cleveland Scene Magazine said, “The debut from Lauren Lanzaretta effectively channels Aretha Franklin and other Soul/R&B greats, calling attention to this rising talent.”

Lauren continues to light up the music scene with her exciting live performances and inspiring vibes. Currently, Lauren is working on her new album entitled “Deliverance”, which will be an evolution of her signature soul sound with hints of rich gospel. The new EP features emotional piano ballads, inspiring choir backing, and vulnerable lyrics that draws the listener deeper into Lauren’s life experiences.

‘Something Won’t Let Me Drown’ is a soul/gospel piano ballad written, produced and performed by Lauren Lanzaretta, and is the first single from her upcoming album “Deliverance”.

100% Of the proceeds from “Something Won’t Let Me Drown” will be donated to Remember Nhu. Remember Nhu is a movement of people who dream of a better world. We believe that children have an inalienable right to grow up happy and healthy, and the idea that any child should be victimized in this way is appalling to all of us. Consider the following question: If you had the opportunity to identify a child who is at risk of being sold, prevent that from happening, and protect the child from ever entering the sex trade—would you do it?
