What’s up, Cleveland? It’s your girl Cream, AKA Ms. Cream of the Crop, and I am dropping some major news for every independent musician, singer, and performing artist holding it down in Cuyahoga County.

If you’ve been looking for a major platform to get your music heard and get paid what you’re actually worth, lock in right now.

Cuyahoga County is officially looking for local talent to perform for the massive “Rediscover Veterans Memorial Bridge” public event happening Saturday, June 27th. They are opening up the historic lower deck of the Detroit-Superior Bridge for an unforgettable all-day community festival, and they need the soundtrack to match the vibes.

Here is the breakdown of why you need to drop everything and apply today:

• The Pay: $500 per 2-hour daytime performance slot. Yeah, you read that right.

• The Extra Hustle: You are fully allowed to set up your tip jars, display your CashApp/Venmo QR codes, sell your merch, and hand out download cards.

• The Audience: This event is expected to be absolutely packed. You’ll be performing right in front of thousands of local commuters, families, and music lovers.

What are they looking for?
They are locking in busker-style (street-performance layout) acts. This means individual solo artists or small groups/bands of 3 or fewer people. Because this is a unique outdoor setup on the bridge’s lower deck, think high-mobility setups, acoustic vibes, or minimal battery-powered amplification.

Note: This is an all-ages, family-friendly event, so make sure your planned setlist keeps it clean and suitable for everyone!

How to Apply:
Don’t sleep on this—slots are going to fill up incredibly fast. We’ve got the official guidelines, technical details, and application steps completely laid out for you.

Download the PDF right now, get your performance links ready, and secure your spot on the bridge. Let’s show the city why Northeast Ohio has the best music scene in the world!
