Today’s New Music Fridays will be dedicated to my aunt Debbie. She lost her fight with cancer last week #fuckcancer…..My aunt always told me to not only believe in myself, but to believe in my dreams as well. She was such a positive soul who will definitely be missed.

This is a dope project! The production on this project was lit! This album keeps the energy on high, and coming out of Cleveland, Oh with a their own vibe that’s fun!
My boy 21 Savage is finally back with some heat for the streets!! Of course dope production by the one and only Metro Boomin just equates to a dope street project. If you are not familiar with the first installment of Savage Mode, maybe you need to catch up! I can honestly say that I got what I was expecting off this album. 21 21 21 LOL
Bryson Tiller is finally back with his sophomore album that is actually released on the same date as his first project! Bryson’s energy was missed…we need that Trap Soul in our lives!!!
YG always comes with some heat for the streets! This project has some dope tracks to bop your head too! I even peeped afeature from Lil Wayne too. If you ask me that’s a recipe for a dope project!

If you are not a fan of those Griselda Boys…I have no idea where you have been at ALL year!! Westside Gunn is back finally dropping his first album, and making sure he gives us all the dope boy /mafia style we have been bumping to thus far! The Queen, The Diva, The Legend, The Voice…the LADY…Mariah Carey is back with a project filled with songs that we have never heard before. I’m talking going back to 1990 to present. Mind you it’s a fresh breath of air to listen to REAL singing coming thru your speakers. Mariah also has a new book that was just released this week as well that I do plan on reading over the weekend. As I get older, I totally appreciate seeing the evolvement of such a talented artist as time goes on.
Alot of dope music came out this week which always excites my soul with the anticipation of listening to each track! As a reminder….I, Mz Slim Goody do listen to EVERY song and/or album I post! Why? Not only am I a music lover with a good ear for music BUT I truly enjoy checking out new music, analyzing the lyrics, and discussing my thoughts on it.
