IT’S NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s up my Goodies!!! How’s everyone’s week going?? My week has been very busy. One of my vehicles was involved in a hit n run, thankfully my insurance covered everything! My bae helped me get a newer and bigger vehicle that I am so happy to have. Mother’s Day is this Sunday so shout out to all the mommy’s out there!! Today is also my daughter in love’s 3rd birthday…..shout out to Nyleah for celebrating another year being on this crazy earth!!!! Lastly, tomorrow will be the Verzuz battle between my idols Jill Scott & Erykah Badu, OMG I soooo can not wait to see. Earlier this week I played both of there top hits just to get an idea as to who may win, but honestly they both are pretty much equal as for the hits. So make sure y’all are tuned in on Instagram at 9pm on either one of the ladies live.
Chris Brown and Young Thug decided to make a collab project together. The thought of that project gave my mixed feelings. Mind you I am a stan for Chris Brown, and I love all of Young Thug’s music, but them two together I just didn’t know LOL The collab project has features with Gunna, Lil Durk, Too Short & E-40, but the album doesn’t get lit until the “Big Slimes” track then after that it’s a real vibe. Maybe this might open the door to more collaborations with the two. Overall it’s worth a listen and maybe a lil booty shake here n there LOL
The first time I really heard Kehlani was back in 2014. My older 2 daughters used to have one of her singles on repeat all the time, and I used to wonder who is this girl with such a soulful voice. Then her project SweetSexySavage that debuted back in 2017 was released and I found myself really enjoying the album. Kehlani makes music that all women can relate to, and she follows that same trend on this new project. This dope project has features with Tory Lanez(that track I have a feeling will be a radio favorite), Jhene Aiko, and even my boy Lucky Daye! Kehlani is moving on up, and this album I feel will put her in a class of her own that others will try to get into. Make sure to check out her first interview with the Breakfast Club today. She’s such a beautiful soul, and her music is always worth a listen.
Producer and artist, NAV, was supposed to had released this project sometime at the end of 2019, but for some reason or another it wasn’t released. The producer who is known as the first Brown boy in rap right now! In my opinion, NAV, is hard! But he does need to be a little more open so fans can get to know him better as an individual. This project is straight a litty situation. From the beginning to the end this album will have you bopping side to side, and with features including: Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, and others you cant go wrong!!!
