NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS

Hey Goodies!!! I hope everyone’s week was great or if not….be blessed you have made it through it!!! This week of new releases are LIT!!! We got a new release from Paid In Full rapper Rakim. We also have Paid In Full rapper Rakim’s son who released a new project. Lil Keed and NLE Choppa have also step to plate with some fire music. Lil Baby and Rod Wave are following in the steps of other well known artist by re-releasing their most recent albums with added music then repackaging them as deluxe albums. Popcaan coming through with riddems, while Tobe Nwigwe making sure he keeps are heads spinning with not only dope lyricism, but hitting topics that should be on the forefront of the news!

I feel that these are all the ingredients to add for a fine dinner of fresh music!!! Oh and do not forget to check your girl out! I have fresh and new content up on 216 The Beat radio channel on Youtube called Tina with the Tea!!!!!

It’s knew it was about time for Amine to drop another album!! I think it’s been since 2017!!!! Please believe that not only is the wait over, but it was well worth the wait. This sophomore album sounds like he really took his time and even made a very good dedication to the recently deceased ex NBA player, Kobe Bryant. Overall, this is a great album with a lot of feel good tracks with dope lyricism to top it off!

So DaBaby decided to follow the theme of 2020 which is re-release your album , but make it a deluxe album! Honestly…I’m liking a lot of the new songs added to the deluxe album vs the original! I swear DaBaby is not going anywhere no time soon!

I swear Lil Keed is my favorite out of Young Thugs crew of slimes. The project Keed dropped last year was super dope even though I had to get used to his voice…you can tell he was speaking on some ish! Trust and believe that this project will provide extra bump in ya ride!!!

If you are looking for some feel good music with some reggae feel…this album will give you that fix! Popcaan goes in on this album, even Drake is featured on this blazing album.

I see the formula for re-releasing albums with additional songs by which makes the project a deluxe version. Like Dababy, I like the songs a little more that was added onto the original album. I personally enjoy Rod Wave’s music for he makes music that you can feel, and this project is something his fans will definitely enjoy.

I swear to be the son of rapper, Rakim, I feel like that instantly puts expectations of greatness on you, but I can say that Tahmell seems to have found his own lane that fits him. This project has a nice vibe to it, and dope flows. This project is definitely worth a listen or maybe 2!!

I am truly excited on how Barlos Montana is staying consistent with releasing out material. His style is something different than any other artist coming out of Cleveland for being different can always set him apart from the others. While this Ep only contained 3 tracks….I can say it has me anticipating for more!

To see that one of my favorite singers/actresses finally released some new music I was totally ecstatic!!! It literally been 8 years since she has released anything new! This new album starts off a little slow, but once you get to song 6 the album starts to come live LOL overall I am elated to hear her voice again and I hope she continues to bless us with her music.

Who does 10 years in jail to come back out with a podcast, dope ass project, and repping from the south east side of Cleveland, OH??? This guy right here named Michael! I particularly enjoyed all of the tracks on his project, but only 5 are my favorites. With only 12 tracks on this project…that is not bad at all! This is a must listen project…I don’t know what he has planned but i think that if he decides to stay in this music game, I think he will last for a long time. Congratulations Mike!!

So Logic decided that this will be his last album. He says that now it’s time to be a father, and I not only understand that but I commend him for making that sacrifice! Will he stay retired from the game? Ummmm…per past references like, Jay-Z and Master P, who have a made so called last albums to turn right around and make another album. This album by Logic is so strategically done. You will hear some samples that will make you bob your head and just vibe to his music. Overall, I wish Logic and his family the best!

IT’S NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what??? It’s 6 days until my birthday Goodies!!!! My birthday is also the start of the Gemini season, which is also known as the best sign ever!! I can admit that due to this Coronavirus outbreak the thought of celebrating my birthday is like a love/hate thing right now. Yes, they do plan on opening restaurants for dining in, but I decided that I will have a small get together at my home, and fix a crab boil while I sip on some tequilas!!!! Usually I don’t even be home on my birthday, but I’m happy to still be alive celebrating a new year of life so think of me next Thursday. My cash app is $tinanita if y’all feel like showing ya girl some love for her birthday.

Future dropped a new project that I think is another meaning to him not drinking Lean anymore. Dope features that include: Drake, Travis Scott, NBA Youngboy and Young Thug gives this album something to anticipate, but still has a feeling as if something is missing. I realized what was missing….Future’s original style, music to turn up to. I know people will hate me for saying this, but I miss the music he made that I can see myself at someones after hours vibing off to. This album didn’t have me ready to shake my ass to…just none of that. All I did was listen to the lyrics and bobbed my head. Maybe a 2nd listen may help with my perception of the album. Just not now. IJS bring back my original Future Astronaut LOL
At first I thought that Polo G album was going to be as depressing as this rainy weather I am feeling, but I am proven wrong!! The Chicago native made sure to shout out deceased artist, Juice WRLD, who is also featured on the album as well as King Von, Lil Baby, and BJ The Chicago Kid. You will start to see the album turn up once you get to track 5 then it’s smooth sailing after that. I do appreciate Polo G and his stories that sound very relatable to the normal man.
Deante Hitchcock first album has me smiling. He really put his all into this project, and it delivers that same energy back to it’s listeners. I can guarantee that this album will stay on repeat especially with dope features from JID, Young Nudy, 6lack and Miguel will have you thinking to yourself that this guy must be dope as well, and to be honest…he is.
