LOL This list has more female artists then from what I have posted before, and it’s not due to me just being pick or choosy…oh no! As we get closer to warmer weather, these new releases are a starting to turn up a little bit more! I still believe that Nipsey Hussle’s death is the reason why there is no real excitement in music right now. All I can hope for is eventually things will come around for the better…must stay positive even when it seems like the hardest thing to do! Dj Khaled is back with another album filtered with nothing but dope ass features!!! A few exciting ones include Cardi B, Nipsey Hussle, Chris Brown, and Meek Mill to name a few! Tyler, the Creator is back with a groovy album…when I say this man is so creative with a thinking outside of the box mentally it truly shows. One of my fave females is finally out with her own album, Megan Thee Stallion. Her album will definitely have you ready to twerk at any given time AAAHHH. Check out the other dope releases below!

David Letterman talks to NBC’s Willie Geist about his newly announced interview with Kanye West for the second season of his Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction saying, “Kanye West. When I was done with Kanye, I kind of felt like I wanted– you want to kind of father him and I think he’s in good hands and I think he’s so artistically smart.”

Letterman added about the interview with West, “I was frightened honestly because I had only met him a couple of times on the show and I knew that depending on the day, you weren’t quite sure which path you were going to be on… he was working on what he calls his Sunday service and I didn’t know what to expect…and we went to it early in a sound studio in Burbank and it was remarkably spiritual…it was quite moving.”

DAVID LETTERMAN: People always say, ‘Well, you know, you’re not going to be the kid’s best friend. You’re going to be his’ — and I say screw that. Look at me. How much longer am I going to be around? I want to be the best friend, but, he’s not keen on me being his best friend.

WILLIE GEIST: So Harry as he moves into his teen years is not as keen on hanging  out with Dad as you’d hoped?

DAVID LETTERMAN: That’s right. I’ll tell you, at my age and you know, this is no breakthrough revelation. But the most secure I ever feel is when I’m around my son.

Hey guys!! I hope everyone’s week is going well! Mines is going well and has been hella busy with end of the school year activities that my daughters are involved in. These week of music releases was a good one!!!

Ciara finally dropped an album, and I like it! She stays true to form with her upbeat dance songs, and I truly love “Greatest Love”. Obviously this song was dedicated to her hubby and its beautiful. Now I do raise a side eye to the song “Trust Myself” for her adlibs sound like her son’s father, Father. Logic dropped his album…while I do like Logic, this album didn’t give me an excited moment, but I do like the song “Commando” who features G-Eazy & I love “Icy” featuring Gucci Mane…BURR!!!

The two artists who projects that I have been playing on repeat are Johnny Cinco & Ari Lennox. I BEEN a fan of Johnny Cinco since 2013, and with this new project he didn’t disappoint! Ari Lennox is a new artist to me, from what I learned from her is that she has such a beautiful voice who commands your attention. Oh and rest in peace to Lil Lonnie, unfortunately he was gunned down a few weeks ago…he had real potential smh Check out all the other hot releases from Friday!!

DaBaby recently had an interview with 106.7 The Beat radio station in Columbus, OH while out on his “DaBaby Tour”.

While it’s a very brief interview, most likely due to time restrictions, he got to speak on how he is feeling having the #1 album in the country, him being such a marketing genius walking around wearing a big ass diaper at the South By Southwest festival a couple of years back that obviously got people to remember his name.

I laughed when Midwest Mally mentioned when DaBaby did his show in Cleveland on how the ladies was definitely turning up for him! Maniac Blac is letting you know now that you probably wont like him for he is on like a light switch, and if you do not want to be apart of his turn up, he can gladly hit the off switch on YOU! LOL

“Off Switch” is a nice track to bump to especially during this season when the temperature is getting warmer, everybody is starting to come out and basically turn up! Hey y’all!!! I am back and better than ever!!! I usually would’ve made my post by now, but a LAME actually went and got my original Facebook page that I had since 2007 disabled indefinitely. While I am upset that it’s some old pictures I wished I had the chance to save to my Google drive, but overall I am going to look at it as a way to re-brand myself in hopes to get my voice heard!

On to better news….You guys do know the show that I am the co host of #hitormisssundays and on Cinco De Mayo, we had episode #6, with tacos & margaritas!! We also had a lot of dope submissions from female artists who singles are LIT!! I can say that was a first for me to witness since I been affiliated with the show, and episode #6 reached over 3, 000 views!!!!!!! I truly appreciate everyone who have watched or shared the live show!!!

This weeks list of new releases was not too hyped, and I truly blame the death of Nipsey Hussle as to why nothing really LIT has been released. I will find the light at the end of the tunnel to lead you guys to some dope ass music! Rupaul released a nice & dance worthy album that I guarantee will keep you in good spirits. I truly love Rupaul’s vocals on this album…it made me feel as if he was in his 30’s singing LOL PnB Rock returns with a sophomore double album that has a different vibe than the first. I heard that some people was complaining about it, but it’s not bad and I think he will have some dope summer singles off of it too.

Jacob Latimore’s new album is literally a vibe! I listened to his album about 5xs already. OMB Peezy album is nice…I admit that I didn’t expect to much of substance from him so to say that I wasn’t surprised is a damn lie LOL He also has a lot of dope features with one of them being T.I. It’s a new artist from Memphis that is bringing the noise! Imagine a cross between Yung Dolph and a young Yo Gotti….Co Cash project will guarantee that your bass will be thumping while listening to this young artist rip every song, and has a dope feature Lil Yatchy will keep you wanting more!

Hey y’all!!! I swear I love when the month of May comes in with all this lovely spring weather here in the great city of Cleveland!!! Plus, to add….some more new music to bump while y’all enjoy this great weather. One of TDE’s label mates, Schoolboy Q, finally dropped his new project. Per the interview he had with the Breakfast Club he talked of how it took 2 years to work on this album due to the fact he had to literally change his style so to not sound like his previous album. I applaud him for after listening to his album more than once lol you can tell that he was projecting a different type of energy this go around. Trust that it’s worth the listen.
Artist, Blackbear, released a new project that he stated is very sentimental to him. This project talks about when he was still addicted to drugs & alcohol, the highs & lows of his addiction, and after he becomes sober. To best describe this album, I will say that like with drugs the album has its upbeat joints then it has you down joints that makes you really listen to the message Blackbear is trying to convey.
Rico Nasty dropped a VERY hype EP that I know her fans will enjoy and artist, VL Deck, came back with a new project that truly has me taking him serious as an artist, like his project is in my regular rotation now! Check out the other dope releases from Friday!

Starting off with Beyonce’s “Homecoming: The Live Album” being released with the arrival of her epic Coachella performance last year on Netflix. Shy Glizzy released a new project titled “Covered N Blood” and is literally covered in blood on the cover! Do you guys remember the group Changing Faces from the back in the 90’s?? They made songs such as “Stroke You Up” and “Other Woman”?? Well…instead of both sisters reprising there group, it’s only Cassandra Lucas with a solo R&B album that brings back that old 90’s feeling with talking about love, heartbreak, and good vibes!
