KELLY ROWLAND – K EP

Thank you Kelly for dropping some feel good music while this world is in such turmoil! I do find it amazing how much Kelly and Beyonce’s voices tend to sound reminiscent of each other, and you do catch it on a couple of songs like “Crazy”. The vibe on this Ep is something I can not describe, but I do know that I do like! Every track is playable from beginning to the end.

Would you blame Ariana Grande for coming with a deluxe version of this album?? Nope! Overall, this album is dope, and to include some extra dope songs like the remix to “34+35” who features Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat adds to the excitement as well!

KEVIN GATES – ONLY THE GENERALS, PART 2

Kevin Gates is back with another dope ass project that not only showcase his ever evolving skills, but showing his fans that he can hold his own. For this album has no features, for which I believe is his first time! If you been following Kevin lately you will see that he’s been in Mexico, and I see that it’s a main focal point in this project in example the first single ” Plug Daughter”. Per usual, if you’re not inspired by Kevin, and what he has to say…I don’t know what to tell you.

JIM JONES X HARRY FRAUD – THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT

When you think of a Jim Jones and Harry Fraud collab…I think of some Dipset/Griselda/NY flavor!!! Alot to put together, I know, but That’s literally the vibe! There’s some upbeat songs to maybe two step to. Of course Jimmy got all lit features like French Montana, Maino, Conway The Machine, and others!! I am a fan of Jim Jones so anything he does deserves a listen.

TRIPPIE REDD – PEGASUS: NEON SHARK VS PEGASUS PRESENTED BY TRAVIS BARKER (DELUXE)

Like Lil Wayne Trippie Redd is testing those Rock waters, and while it may not catch you first, it will catch you later! Fans will get to hear their regular Trippie on the 2nd half. So its rock out with you cock out then it turns into trippy trap music! With over 20 songs I bet you will listen to it all.

Grammy nominated Lucky Daye is finally back with some motivating funk for our lives and I am here for it! It’s the creativity and cadence for me anytime I listen to Lucky Daye’s music. This ep is definitely a great start to your Friday. Some of his features include Ari Lennox, Queen Naija, Mahalia, and more!!

PINK SWEAT$ – PINK PLANET

Such an eclectic fellow, and talented artist, Pink Sweat$ comes back out amazing his fans over and over again with his music. Each and every project comes with something different! Pink Planet gives me such a grown and sexy vibe and has only one feature with the lovely Kehlani. This project is a must listen especially during these Covid times.

ERIC BELLINGER & HITMAKA – 1-800-HIT-EAZY

Eric Bellinger is so underrated as a singer and a producer as well!! After listening to this collab project with Eric and Hitmaka AKA Yung Berg, I like them working together on projects and hope to hear more great music from them together! The production is dope, the lyrics are relatable, and the overall vibe is groovy!!!

JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH SOUNDTRACK – VARIOUS ARTISTS

I can not wait to sit my ass down to watch this movie I promoted a few months back on Tina With The Tea!! This soundtrack just gives me life, its filled with all your dope artists like Jay-Z, H.E.R, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Durk, G Herbo, and others!!! Just listening to the soundtrack will have you gassed up to see this dope movie!

Robin Thicke’s voice is such a treasure! While listening to this album, you will be vibing just thinking about all of the sweet and positive things in your life! This project from the beginning to the end is listen worthy. Robin is a singer that can last throughout time.

This is my first time listening to Slowthai, but I can say that I am very impressed and turnt all at the same time!! From the beats to the flow to the features from your favorites like Denzel Curry, A$AP Rocky, Skepta and others will have you putting this project on repeat!

SLIM400 – BOMPTTON

Slim400 is another artist whose music I love! Now he’s finally back in 2021 with some new heat that I know my West coast friends and fam will be bumping around the city! Of course he made sure to included features with my other fav RJmrLA as well!!!

VANJESS – HOMEGROWN

I meant to post about this project last week but I was overly consumed with my daughters 1st bornday, so I am making sure to post them today for this project is the shit!! In some ways these beautiful ladies remind me of Changing Faces. Lovely vocals and dope beats always gets me.

BLACK COFFEE – SUBCONSCIOUSLY

Overall, Black Coffee put his all in this great album! The feature with Cassie is definitely a must listen. Subconsciously is what I call a complete project. You can tell that Black Coffee took his time and planned everything out accordingly.

BABYFACE RAY – UNFUCKWITABLE

I like Babyface Ray! I can feel the waviness on every song! Dope features with Kash Doll, Moneybagg Yo and others!!

POOH SHIESTY – SHIESTY SEASON

Pooh Shiesty got the radio blazing with his singles so of course I couldn’t wait to hear what a full length project will sound from him. Pooh comes with hard lyrics and surprising features, but my energy tends to move up and down like a rollercoaster while listening to it!!! Thankfully this is just a mixtape, and not his actual album!

EC MARV – BEAT DA ODDS

I have been hip to EC Marv for a couple years now. I have seen his clout chasing moments to him looking like the best boyfriend, babydaddy, father EVEERRRR! LOL I decided to check out his new project for by now I felt like he should be REALLY talking about something in his lyrics. Not saying that he didn’t do that before, but when you live “life” the raw emotions from it tend to provide great music , and EC Marv did that on this project! This is definitely a must listen.

THE WEEKND – THE HIGHLIGHTS

If you do not like The Weeknd then something is clearly wrong with you! Me, personally, I’ve been a fan since 2011, and even when I may fall off from listening to him, I can still check in and he’s still on fire! This project will definitely remind you of his greatest works, and don’t forget the work he’s done with Drake too!! Make sure to watch the 2021 Super Bowl this Sunday, the 7th to see The Weeknd shut this halftime special DOWN!!!

PROPAIN – IT AINT SAFE OUTSIDE

Propain made sure to give us what’s exactly has been not only on his mind the minds of people everywhere with a little Texas kick to it tho! Dope features from all of Houston’s greatest helps to convey Propain’s message on this overall dope project!

DEVIN THE DUDE – SOULFUL DISTANCE

To hear Devin The Dude on anything is a blessing! In 2021 he decides to bless us with a nice album to vibe to, smoke to, and just chill something that I think is needed during these times.

I am loving this deluxe by Amine. The original was dope too, but kind of a snooze in my opinion! The songs added to this deluxe reminds me as to why I like Amine music from the start! Rating: 7 out of 10

SHAWN MENDES – WONDER

What I truly like about this album is that its such a feel good vibe from the beginning to the end. This album can be played around the seniors and the babies for the way Shawn sing his lyrics keeps things safe..nothing is overly done. Overall a great album with only 1 feature artist, Justin Bieber, and every song sounds like the piece to a perfect playlist. Rating: 9 out of 10

YFN LUCCI – WISH ME WELL 3

I am very excited to hear on YFN Lucci’s 3rd installment of the “Wish Me Well” series, that auto tune was not overly used!!! I liked his music, but I found myself having to hear a song repeatedly just to get into it. Of course this project is filled with dope artist features and club joints and songs for us LADIES! Rated 8 out of 10

I am so happy for Rico Nasty!!!!! I have been a few for a couple years now, and what I love about her is she is making her own lane. Like how nobody can be like Future, no one can be like Rico period!! For this to be her first album, she went in. Dope features with artists like Gucci Mane, Don Tolliver, Amine, Trippie Redd, PPCocaine, my girl Sukihana, and the lovely Rubi Rose!!! Definitely a must listen! Rating 10 out of 10

YUNG BABY TATE – AFTER THE RAIN

Here’s another lady to whom I have been loving her vibe as an artist, writer, and just overall style! This project I swear has me wanting more! From having dope feature with another bomb artist Flo Milli and 6lack only adds to more flava, but Yung Baby Tate can handle her own tho! Rating 9 out of 10

I can admit that he has a couple of tracks I can find myself bumping to. This project has no features just Young Draco on every track giving you swagged out flo! Rating 6 out of 10

DRAKEO THE RULER – WE KOW THE TRUTH

I like his voice for some reason, but he be telling some interesting street tales! Features including Icewear Vezzo, Lil Mosey, Tee Grizzly, Rich The Kid, and others let you know they most likely agree with me as well! Drakeo is fresh from out of jail so you know the project is filled with that Detroit flava, and deserves a listen!! Rating 8 out of 10

JUICY J – THE HUSTLE CONTINUES

Juicy J always stays grinding out dope music that seems to stand the test of time, for everybody loves sampling Three Six Mafia beats! This project right here is really LIT. I love how Juicy stays evolving with the times, but will remind you who started this. Juicy comes thru with a star rated cast featuring: Wiz Khalifa, Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Logic and others!! Rated: 8 out of 10

LIL WAYNE – NO CEILINGS 3

I was so surprised to find out that Lil Wayne was releasing a No Ceilings 3 today, my ass was too thirsty to hear it! Now I surely didn’t plan for the mixtape to come out at 9pm!!!! Lol Needless to say that my ass did wait and I am so not disappointed!!! This mixtape is definitely a bop! Rated: 10 out of 10

NEFERTITTI AVANI – OH, OK

Nefertitti Avani is a jewel that I think is underrated in this industry! Young, beautiful, smart, and woke is what I view her as, and her music reflects that! On this new project, you can tell that Nefertitti has evolved has an entertainer. I love the samples you hear that are very reminiscent of the 90’s or early 00’s. One of my favorite tracks is “Keep The Lights On”. Rated 9 out of 10

TINASHE – COMFORT & JOY EP

Tinashe, another dope artist, to whom I think is definitely underrated in this game, is now presenting us with her first Xmas album. The feeling of the album is overall great! Tinashe didn’t over do it on the ep, but gave her own Tinashe style to it. Rating: 7 out of 10

STATIK SELEKTAH – THE BALANCING ACT

I have not heard from Statik Selektah in a long time, and to see that he has blessed us with some dope music has me in awe!! I am talking about great music with great production and great features that I do not want to name because it is so many! Wait…I’ll mention one…NAS!!!! This is definitely a must listen. Rating: 9 out of 10

The energy of this project has you feeling like you are in a Call of Duty game, and I am guessign that is the point of this project! Youngs Teflon lyrical flow is hitting on every track. Rating: 8 out of 10

LIL YACHTY – LIL BOAT 3.5

Lil Yachty decided to join the deluxe crew for the year, and I am ready to thank his ass for this!! I don’t know if its just me, but I think he changed the whole cadence of Lil Boat 3. This is definitely worth a listen. Rating: 9 out of 10

RYLO RODRIGUEZ – G.I.H.F.

I was surprised to see that his project finally came out today! Congratulations on Rylo’s first album. So far I am liking what I hear. Rylo is one of those rappers whose voice makesn you feel as if he’s been thru so much in his short life with dope ass beats to follow. Definitely a must listen!! Rating: 8 out of 10

MILEY CYRUS – PLASTIC HEARTS

I can not lie…I like this album! It’s giving me vintage feelings, but overall this is a dope album with quite a few bops on it to sing along to. One thing I am learning about Miley is that she is always evolving and with each evolvement she brings out great music for her fans. Rating: 8 out 10

As usual 2Chainz presents to us another project that is complete FIRE! From the beginning to the end has been no song that I skipped past. His features like Mulatto, Kanye, NBA Youngboy, and others just adds to the dopeness of this album.

DANILIEIGH – MOVIE

It’s been 2 years since Danileigh has released a project, and for this 2nd time around she chose to go more personal and sensual….with a title named “Movie” I was wondering what type of movie is she referring to?? After listening to the first 2 tracks I think you will get the idea LOL Overall, it’s good to see the different layers of an artist as they evolve in their career.

PINK SIIFU X FLY ANAKIN – FLYSIIFU

If you are looking for dope beats with rhymes that make you not only vibe, but think a little as well….this is the project you have been looking for! I admit when the album first came on I was a little confused at first. Now 4 songs later…I am really vibing! There’s hardly any features, but these artists carried this project on there own anyways.

K-TRAP – STREET SIDE EFFECTS

This project is pretty forreal! What I really like is how K-Trap conveys his thoughts in his raps. Listening to him will have you thinking that you are literally there in his story line, and I think that’s super dope!

DAVIDO – A BETTER TIME

Davido presents to us a beautiful album that represents nothing but positivity and having a good time. Of course there’s dope features like Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Nas and many more to add to this dope project!

GOODIE MOB – SURVIVAL KIT

One of Atlanta’s legendary groups is blessing us with an album after a decade has passed and still can be put up against the best in the game now! What makes this album soooo classic already is the fact that Outkast makes a presence on this album as well! If that doesn’t get you excited to check this album out, I literally don’t know what else to tell ya.

FUTURE X LIL UZI VERT – PLUTO X BABY PLUTO

Now when you put Future and Lil Uzi Vert together what do you get?? Ummm…a lit ass album is what you will get and should’ve expected!

BIG MALI – GANGSTA TALK

Big Mali is literally bringing us some gangsta music!! This is my first time checking her out, and so far I am liking what she brings…dope flows with a distinctive style that is unlike others. Big Mali’s project is one that yall better check out! With features from Dababy, Asian Doll, and Rich The Kid guarantees certified bangers.

KODAK BLACK – BILL ISREAL

Kodak Black is finally back releasing music from the pen. It caused so much noise that he was trending on Twitter due to the fact that we still have yet to get a album from Playboi Carti!!! Kodak usually bless us with albums that has about 20 tracks, but due to his circumstance he only gives us 10 tracks. Either way I am too pumped, and he made sure to give his fans what we have been missing!

Now he is an artist that comes with good projects consistently and this installment is the same.
