I totally love this project!! They. definitely created a vibe on this project. You can literally play this project from beginning to the end without skipping a track, if this is the type of energy you search for! They. only has 3 features including my girl Tinashe, Wale, and Juicy J. With quality production and real stories to tell in a dope vibe wins every time!!

DEJ LOAF – SELL SOLE II

It’s been a awhile since we heard from Detroit’s own Dej Loaf! I admit being a newbie with a breakout hit that changed the game for her is quite overwhelming to any artist for everyone will be expecting the exact same thing when that’s not realistic! You can tell that Dej has evolved on this project, especially with sounding so transparent. I don’t even want to mention who her features are LOL I literally want yall to check her album out. PERIOD!

DAVE EAST – KARMA 3 (DELUXE)

This project was already dope AF! Now Dave decided to follow in the common trend of this year by coming out with a deluxe version of his album Karma 3! Honestly, I am excited fr. This just made the original project much better with adding a remix LOL This is definitely a must listen.

CHUCK STRANGERS – TOO AFRAID TO DANCE

I love this artist story telling!!! Listening to this project had me thinking of cold nights in black n white LOL If the Ep sounds like this…I can’t wait to see what Chuck has coming next!

TRAPBOY FREDDY – BIG TRAP

TRAP! TRAP! TRAP! This is definitely what you want to hear on a good Friday!!

JOYNER LUCAS – EVOLUTION

I swear Joyner Lucas does not get the credit he so fully deserves! His music is always on point, from his lyrics to the production, which sounds like each song should be in someone’s soundtrack! Joyner is literally a true talent, he makes you feel proud! It’s ALL BLACK EVERYTHING!!

I can’t even lie…I was anxious to hear Chanel’s project! Overall I am happily surprised, and she isn’t on here trying to be the dopest lyricist ever or have a trillion Black rappers featured just to so how down she is. To be down isn’t something that can be staged, and what I am getting from this project is a piece of Chanel’s life outside of MTV’s Ridiculous. Congratulations Chanel! This project is nice, and you will be shocked to hear the tone of her voice on this project too.

I just want to input some fire flames all in this comment section! Comethazine came hard on this project…he letting you know that you can’t count him out PERIOD!!!

YAK GOTTI – GOTTI OUTTA HERE

Young Thug literally creating his own lane with his Slimes, and that’s also including Yak Gotti. I will say that Gotti is Outta Here for this project is lit! Dope features with Gunna, Lil Duke, and all the other Slime members Yak Gotti got the recipe for him to win!!

CERAADI – #GRWM

This ep is really dope! I totally enjoyed it …I am anxious to hear more of them in the future!

I am so excited to be blessed with the opportunity to listen to this dope album. Jadon’s album has dope production, vocals , and the lyrics is definitely super dope. I suggest for everyone to check this album out. You can be late to the party, but at least you showed up and showed out. Congratulations Jadon!!!

Barlos Montana always comes thru with some kappin ass music to be bumping to! What I like about him as an artist is that his style is not like what you expect to hear coming from out of Cleveland, Oh, but that swag…most definitely LOL This album is a must listen!!

Anything T.I. makes best believe I am here for!!! T.I. stays making music that us grown folks can get into as well as those tracks that you can get litty too as well, and this album does just that! Happy belated Birthday Tip!!!

GUCCI MANE – SO ICY GANG VOL. 1

I love seeing Gucci Mane is this official position as a BOSS!! He is bringing out his crew, the So Icy Gang. Yall should’ve gotten familiar with them with their first collaborative effort “So Icy Summer“. Every track on this project is dope, and I am loving the artist’s Gucci has, but honestly I always expect the best from him anyways! Burr!

BLACK THOUGHT – STREAMS OF THOUGHT VOL.3: CANE & ABEL

If you know anything about the artist, Black Thought, you know that he comes with lyrics that make you think! For those aren’t familiar with the artist…he is the lead rapper in the group, The Roots. This 3rd installment of his Streams of Thought is dope! I also love the features he has like Killer Mike, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz , and others!

PARTYNEXTDOOR – PARTY PACK

I swear this is an artist who is hardly seen anywhere, but when he releases projects, those project’s be dope af!! Party Pack does exactly that! This project is super dope please including features from Nipsey Hussle, Quavo, Lil Yatchy, and others!

BENNY THE BUTCHER – BURDEN OF PROOF

If you been sleeping under a rock lately…you will not know that Griselda Records have been dropping nothing but heat just about every New Music Friday fr!!! Benny lyrical flows have me feeling I’m selling dope LOL Production by Hit Boy and features including Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Freddie Gibbs, and others!! This is a successful year for the Midwest label, and I am anxious to see what’s next!!

SERIAL KILLERS – SUMMER OF SAM

I swear when you see a new group called Serial Killers pop up with new music, then when I did some research and found out that the members in this group is Xzibit, B-Real, and Demrick…I got all excited forreal!! It’s nothing but dope flows, great production, plus real facts speaking! This project is definitely a must listen.

PREME X POPCAAN – LINK UP

I was wondering what this “link up” was going to be, but honestly…I like the collaborate effort between the two. Both are talented in their own right so it works well! This project has a very cool vibe to it, plus with dope features with Wiz Khalifa, Davido, and French Montana

SHEEK LOUCH – BEAST MODE 4

I had to save the best for last, Sheek Louch! Just seeing his name should let you know that this 4th installment of his Beast Mode series will go hard, and it does!!!

Nina Nicole is back with some super heat for these streets!!! She represents what I expect to see out of a Boss Chick! Originally from Cleveland, but now residing in Houston…I can definitely see the growth! Plus the dope features on this album is what does it for me…PERIOD!

PAPOOSE – ENDANGERED SPECIES

I can not lie…It has been ages since I checked in out any Papoose album. Not saying that his music isn’t worth the listen…it just wasn’t my thing, but for those who do love his music…this album will be the shit for you guys! Papoose definitely reminds everyone that outside of his famous wife, he is someone to not play with.

TREY SONGZ – BACK HOME

Trey Songz never seems to let me down when it comes to his music. I mean literally since day 1! I love this albums whole cadence as well as how smoothly it moves on to the next track. He calls this album “Back Home” , and I hope that means he’s back to being a great artist and person all around. Stay proving the haters wrong Trey!

BLOCBOY JB – FATBOY

BlocBoy JB is another artist that when I hear his music, I expect to turn TF up!!! This album literally gives me what I am expecting.

The #1 artist of the millennium continues with her formula of motivational songs, stories of love, and regular day to day observations. I love to see Alicia on these charts for she is a breath of fresh air to this music game. Literally a representation of when your actual talent is the reason for everything. No, this album does not compare to my favorite album “The Diary of Alicia Keys”, but this album is definitely one that will be on the Top 10 charts! Alicia made sure to enlist dope features for this project like Tierra Whack, Miguel, Khalid, Jill Scott, and others.

SHY GLIZZY – YOUNG JEFE 3

Shy Glizzy is back with another dope ass project to vibe to. I admit that I had gotten used to the Shy Glizzy that I first heard back in 2013, but I can say that Shy Glizzy stays making dope music that everyone can vibe to. This 3rd installment of “Young Jefe” has some dope features including Meek Mill, Jeremih, Ty Dolla Sign, G Herbo, and others. Trust me when I say that by the time you get to track 5 the album turns up!

ARMANI CAESER – THE LIZ TAPE

Being the 1st lady of Griselda Records means that Armani Caesar has alot of weight on her shoulders, but what I like about her….she has her own lane, just like the rest of the artist under that label are. I truly love the album cover, Elizabeth Taylor was a different type of classic beauty that seemed to be priceless, and Armani is letting everyone know that she is something special to this game. This dope ass project has features from Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Benny The Butcher.

LIL TECCA – VIRGO WORLD

Lil Tecca came hard for his first project! Literally almost every song on this project is an official bop forreal!! I am looking forward to what the future holds for him. Tecca enlisted dope ass features from Polo G, Lil Durk, Nav, Lil Uzi Vert, Internet Money, and more!

MONEYBAGG YO X BLAC YOUNGSTA – CODE RED

Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta were supposed to release they own projects, but at the last minute decided to turn things to a collaboration! Hey…why not?? They’re both on Yo Gotti’s label, as well as from different parts of Memphis, Tennessee, and both are favorites amongst the Hip Hop crowd. This project got some dope tracks that are some true bops and with features from Ari, 42 Dugg, Yo Gotti, City Girls, DaBaby, and others is guaranteed to keep this project on repeat!

Skippa Da Flippa always come with that heat and he stays very consistent! This project got bops starting from track 1 to the end. Too bad this project is only an Ep!!! It makes you want to hear more LOL

MC EIHT – LESSONS

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that we would be blessed with some original gangsta music from Mc Eiht!!! This is a super dope project, and the features are too LIT, including B-Real, Conway The Machine, Kokane, Dave East, Talib Kweli, Yukmouth, and more og’s in this rap game!! This project here…is definitely a must listen….ON MY MAMA!!!!

GRAFH – GOOD ENERGY

This artist did exactly what I expected from him…to give me some good energy!! This whole project is dope af! From features with Eric Bellinger, Mysonne, 38 Spesh, Jim Jones, and more….plus great lyrical flow that makes sense. Grafh can’t go wrong with this project at all!!

PROBLEM – COFFEE X KUSH VOL.2

Problem is always causing a damn problem releasing dope ass music that I just feel so addicted to! This project is consistent with volume 1, but what I am noticing is that every one of these artists are using their platform to speak against the injustice and abuse Black Americans have been going through especially in 2020. Problem made sure to speak on his thought from this year and I feel him. Of course Problem had to enlist some dope artist to partake in his vision including Tyrese, Jack Harlow, Jay Rock, Freddie Gibbs, Snoop Dogg and more!

CURREN$Y X HARRY FRAUD – THE DIRECTORS CUT

I can’t tell you guys a time that Curren$y came weak on a project. With production from Harry Fraud, this album is definitely a must listen. Usually Curren$y does not use too many features, but I see for this project he went IN! Features including: Trippie Redd, Snoop Dogg, Styles P, and Larry June….I instantly got excited. This whole project is nothing but a vibe that I will say please check it out!!!

OMG you guys, when I found out that this young man right here was releasing an Ep I could not wait to hear it! Now I am just in awe…when I say I love how the songs are arranged, to the harmonies you hear, to even the whole vibe of this project has me wanting to hear more from him!! We also have Paid In Full rapper Rakim’s son who released a new project. Lil Keed and NLE Choppa have also step to plate with some fire music. Lil Baby and Rod Wave are following in the steps of other well known artist by re-releasing their most recent albums with added music then repackaging them as deluxe albums. Popcaan coming through with riddems, while Tobe Nwigwe making sure he keeps are heads spinning with not only dope lyricism, but hitting topics that should be on the forefront of the news!

It’s knew it was about time for Amine to drop another album!! I think it’s been since 2017!!!! Please believe that not only is the wait over, but it was well worth the wait. This sophomore album sounds like he really took his time and even made a very good dedication to the recently deceased ex NBA player, Kobe Bryant. Overall, this is a great album with a lot of feel good tracks with dope lyricism to top it off!

While this Ep only contained 3 tracks….I can say it has me anticipating for more!

To see that one of my favorite singers/actresses finally released some new music I was totally ecstatic!!! It literally been 8 years since she has released anything new! This new album starts off a little slow, but once you get to song 6 the album starts to come live LOL overall I am elated to hear her voice again and I hope she continues to bless us with her music.

He’s one of the dopest rappers to come out of LA but not too many people are familiar with him as of yet! He stays very consistent and at times will include unexpected features from artist that you never thought knew of him, and thats exactly how I got to know of his music. This project is nothing new…just like his other work this right here will be on repeat!!

What’s up Goodies!!! I am back with another week filled of New Music Releases to check out! I am so excited this week for there are some major artist releases today PLUS a last album for one of our greatest lyricists as well as a newbie whose project already has Twitter going dumb crazy over her lyrics!

Who does 10 years in jail to come back out with a podcast, dope ass project, and repping from the south east side of Cleveland, OH??? This guy right here named Michael! I particularly enjoyed all of the tracks on his project, but only 5 are my favorites. With only 12 tracks on this project…that is not bad at all! This is a must listen project…I don’t know what he has planned but i think that if he decides to stay in this music game, I think he will last for a long time. Congratulations Mike!!

LOGIC – NO PRESSURE

So Logic decided that this will be his last album. He says that now it’s time to be a father, and I not only understand that but I commend him for making that sacrifice! Will he stay retired from the game? Ummmm…per past references like, Jay-Z and Master P, who have a made so called last albums to turn right around and make another album. This album by Logic is so strategically done. You will hear some samples that will make you bob your head and just vibe to his music. Overall, I wish Logic and his family the best!

TAYLOR SWIFT – FOLK LORE

At times you have credit where credit is due, and Taylor Swift is that woman. She returns with an album telling more stories of love, heartbreak, and motivational thoughts that everyone will relate to. We must always give flowers to those are still living.
