KELLY ROWLAND – K EP

Thank you Kelly for dropping some feel good music while this world is in such turmoil! I do find it amazing how much Kelly and Beyonce’s voices tend to sound reminiscent of each other, and you do catch it on a couple of songs like “Crazy”. The vibe on this Ep is something I can not describe, but I do know that I do like! Every track is playable from beginning to the end.

Kevin Gates is back with another dope ass project that not only showcase his ever evolving skills, but showing his fans that he can hold his own. For this album has no features, for which I believe is his first time! If you been following Kevin lately you will see that he’s been in Mexico, and I see that it’s a main focal point in this project in example the first single ” Plug Daughter”. Per usual, if you’re not inspired by Kevin, and what he has to say…I don’t know what to tell you.

JIM JONES X HARRY FRAUD – THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT

When you think of a Jim Jones and Harry Fraud collab…I think of some Dipset/Griselda/NY flavor!!! Alot to put together, I know, but That’s literally the vibe! There’s some upbeat songs to maybe two step to. Of course Jimmy got all lit features like French Montana, Maino, Conway The Machine, and others!! I am a fan of Jim Jones so anything he does deserves a listen.

POOH SHIESTY – SHIESTY SEASON

Pooh Shiesty got the radio blazing with his singles so of course I couldn’t wait to hear what a full length project will sound from him. Pooh comes with hard lyrics and surprising features, but my energy tends to move up and down like a rollercoaster while listening to it!!! Thankfully this is just a mixtape, and not his actual album!

EC MARV – BEAT DA ODDS

I have been hip to EC Marv for a couple years now. I have seen his clout chasing moments to him looking like the best boyfriend, babydaddy, father EVEERRRR! LOL I decided to check out his new project for by now I felt like he should be REALLY talking about something in his lyrics. Not saying that he didn’t do that before, but when you live “life” the raw emotions from it tend to provide great music , and EC Marv did that on this project! This is definitely a must listen.

THE WEEKND – THE HIGHLIGHTS

If you do not like The Weeknd then something is clearly wrong with you! Me, personally, I’ve been a fan since 2011, and even when I may fall off from listening to him, I can still check in and he’s still on fire! This project will definitely remind you of his greatest works, and don’t forget the work he’s done with Drake too!! Make sure to watch the 2021 Super Bowl this Sunday, the 7th to see The Weeknd shut this halftime special DOWN!!!

PROPAIN – IT AINT SAFE OUTSIDE

Propain made sure to give us what’s exactly has been not only on his mind the minds of people everywhere with a little Texas kick to it tho! Dope features from all of Houston’s greatest helps to convey Propain’s message on this overall dope project!

I love to see Alicia on these charts for she is a breath of fresh air to this music game. Literally a representation of when your actual talent is the reason for everything. No, this album does not compare to my favorite album “The Diary of Alicia Keys”, but this album is definitely one that will be on the Top 10 charts! Alicia made sure to enlist dope features for this project like Tierra Whack, Miguel, Khalid, Jill Scott, and others.

SHY GLIZZY – YOUNG JEFE 3

Shy Glizzy is back with another dope ass project to vibe to. I admit that I had gotten used to the Shy Glizzy that I first heard back in 2013, but I can say that Shy Glizzy stays making dope music that everyone can vibe to. This 3rd installment of “Young Jefe” has some dope features including Meek Mill, Jeremih, Ty Dolla Sign, G Herbo, and others. Trust me when I say that by the time you get to track 5 the album turns up!

ARMANI CAESER – THE LIZ TAPE

Being the 1st lady of Griselda Records means that Armani Caesar has alot of weight on her shoulders, but what I like about her….she has her own lane, just like the rest of the artist under that label are. I truly love the album cover, Elizabeth Taylor was a different type of classic beauty that seemed to be priceless, and Armani is letting everyone know that she is something special to this game. This dope ass project has features from Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Benny The Butcher.

LIL TECCA – VIRGO WORLD

Lil Tecca came hard for his first project! Literally almost every song on this project is an official bop forreal!! I am looking forward to what the future holds for him. Tecca enlisted dope ass features from Polo G, Lil Durk, Nav, Lil Uzi Vert, Internet Money, and more!

MONEYBAGG YO X BLAC YOUNGSTA – CODE RED

Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta were supposed to release they own projects, but at the last minute decided to turn things to a collaboration! Hey…why not?? They’re both on Yo Gotti’s label, as well as from different parts of Memphis, Tennessee, and both are favorites amongst the Hip Hop crowd. This project got some dope tracks that are some true bops and with features from Ari, 42 Dugg, Yo Gotti, City Girls, DaBaby, and others is guaranteed to keep this project on repeat!

MC EIHT – LESSONS

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that we would be blessed with some original gangsta music from Mc Eiht!!! This is a super dope project, and the features are too LIT, including B-Real, Conway The Machine, Kokane, Dave East, Talib Kweli, Yukmouth, and more og’s in this rap game!! This project here…is definitely a must listen….ON MY MAMA!!!!

GRAFH – GOOD ENERGY

This artist did exactly what I expected from him…to give me some good energy!! This whole project is dope af! From features with Eric Bellinger, Mysonne, 38 Spesh, Jim Jones, and more….plus great lyrical flow that makes sense. Grafh can’t go wrong with this project at all!!

PROBLEM – COFFEE X KUSH VOL.2

Problem is always causing a damn problem releasing dope ass music that I just feel so addicted to! This project is consistent with volume 1, but what I am noticing is that every one of these artists are using their platform to speak against the injustice and abuse Black Americans have been going through especially in 2020. Problem made sure to speak on his thought from this year and I feel him. Of course Problem had to enlist some dope artist to partake in his vision including Tyrese, Jack Harlow, Jay Rock, Freddie Gibbs, Snoop Dogg and more!

CURREN$Y X HARRY FRAUD – THE DIRECTORS CUT

I can’t tell you guys a time that Curren$y came weak on a project. With production from Harry Fraud, this album is definitely a must listen. Usually Curren$y does not use too many features, but I see for this project he went IN! Features including: Trippie Redd, Snoop Dogg, Styles P, and Larry June….I instantly got excited. This whole project is nothing but a vibe that I will say please check it out!!!
