What I truly love about this project is that Nas not only came with his dope ass flows, but he brought such a upbeat vibe special thanks to the producer, Hit-Boy!! This Black powered filled album includes dope features with Big Sean, Charlie Wilson, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and even The Firm. For those youngins who may not know who The Firm is….it’s includes Foxy Brown, AZ, and Cormega!!!

Cleveland is the city where we come from and I bet you will feel the energy throughout this mixtape! While it’s only 6 tracks…..I guarantee that each song will have you bopping your head to it. What I like about this artist is that he is a fine example that artists from Cleveland all have there own distinct style, and dope enough to brag about.

Burna Boy is back with some dope meaningful music to bless us with for the year!! I truly love on how on the 1st track he talks about the Grammys and why he did not make it on stage to accept his award due to being so nervous he threw up!!! But….guess what??? Nobody was disappointed at all! We was all excited, and the vibe on this album is all of that!!

I swear Dave east never disappoints!!! He always comes thru with little gems of hard ass music that hit you in your soul!!! My Geminis always produce great work.

This is totally dope project! I have a teen who listens to this artist regularly, and is ecstatic about this project!! In my opinion this project is a whole vibe that I bet you will enjoy!

Hey Goodies!!! I hope everyone’s week was great or if not….be blessed you have made it through it!!! This week of new releases are LIT!!! We got a new release from Paid In Full rapper Rakim. We also have Paid In Full rapper Rakim’s son who released a new project. Lil Keed and NLE Choppa have also step to plate with some fire music. Lil Baby and Rod Wave are following in the steps of other well known artist by re-releasing their most recent albums with added music then repackaging them as deluxe albums. Popcaan coming through with riddems, while Tobe Nwigwe making sure he keeps are heads spinning with not only dope lyricism, but hitting topics that should be on the forefront of the news!

I feel that these are all the ingredients to add for a fine dinner of fresh music!!! Oh and do not forget to check your girl out! I have fresh and new content up on 216 The Beat radio channel on Youtube called Tina with the Tea!!!!!

It’s knew it was about time for Amine to drop another album!! I think it’s been since 2017!!!! Please believe that not only is the wait over, but it was well worth the wait. This sophomore album sounds like he really took his time and even made a very good dedication to the recently deceased ex NBA player, Kobe Bryant. Overall, this is a great album with a lot of feel good tracks with dope lyricism to top it off!

So DaBaby decided to follow the theme of 2020 which is re-release your album , but make it a deluxe album! Honestly…I’m liking a lot of the new songs added to the deluxe album vs the original! I swear DaBaby is not going anywhere no time soon!

I see the formula for re-releasing albums with additional songs by which makes the project a deluxe version. Like Dababy, I like the songs a little more that was added onto the original album. I personally enjoy Rod Wave’s music for he makes music that you can feel, and this project is something his fans will definitely enjoy.

I particularly enjoyed all of the tracks on his project, but only 5 are my favorites. With only 12 tracks on this project…that is not bad at all! This is a must listen project…I don’t know what he has planned but i think that if he decides to stay in this music game, I think he will last for a long time. Congratulations Mike!!

LOGIC – NO PRESSURE

So Logic decided that this will be his last album. He says that now it’s time to be a father, and I not only understand that but I commend him for making that sacrifice! Will he stay retired from the game? Ummmm…per past references like, Jay-Z and Master P, who have a made so called last albums to turn right around and make another album. This album by Logic is so strategically done. You will hear some samples that will make you bob your head and just vibe to his music. Overall, I wish Logic and his family the best!

TAYLOR SWIFT – FOLK LORE

At times you have credit where credit is due, and Taylor Swift is that woman. She returns with an album telling more stories of love, heartbreak, and motivational thoughts that everyone will relate to. We must always give flowers to those are still living.

What’s up Goodies!!!! It’s another week of New Music Fridays, and I am here to let yall know what’s hot in these streets LOL I hope everyone are wearing they masks anytime you guys are outside and social distancing as well! Trust and believe that we are all in this together, and I am praying for all of us! Hey my Goodies!!! I hope everyones Holiday weekend was great and that yall stayed covid safe as well! #wearyourmasks I was sooooo busy!!! On the 3rd my oldest turned 15 years old, and now tomorrow my son will be turning 5 years old. Due to me being so busy I didnt get a chance to post any new music, and with all this craziness going on we need something to help lift our spirits even its just a lil bit.

Hit Or Miss Sundays is finally back in the studio, this past Sunday was our first time back together since March. Of course we kept our masks on, and and the amount of people around us was at a minimum. Overall, It made me realize how much I missed being there around the crew! I will also be starting a new segment on Cream’s show called “Tina With The Tea” check me out on Saturdays between the hours of 2 to 4pm.

216 The Beat radio is back to doing our segment “Spotlight On Black Owned Brands” if yall know of any brands you think is worthy for a shout out please email me or the station.

If you are a K Camp fan you know that his music always comes with a lil bump to it. I believe this is album does just that! This is the 2nd compilation that I have heard from K Camp and RARE Sounds and in my opinion….I totally enjoyed this album.

After listening to the first track I had to take a double look at G Eazy’s album again for this project sounds totally different that his last projects! This album feels like it’s his way to reflect on his life and the people in it.

AUGUST ALSINA – THE PRODUCT III: STATE OF EMERGENCY

August Alsina comes off as such a mature man especially for his age, but he might state that it’s due to experiencing a lot at an early age. August has one of those voices that make you believe everything he’s saying. This album is special for August…while dealing with a lot of adversity in his regular life he was able to still create a great piece of work.

YUNGEEN ACE – DON DADA

Yungeen Ace always come with that heat for the streets! His lyrical skill is getting way better than where it was at when I first posted him 2 years ago.

88GLAM – NEW MANIA

I truly love this group!!! Anytime they drop a project I can listen to whole album, and this new project is no different!

CAN YALL GUESS WHAT TODAY IS????

It’s Happy Juneteenth and here in Ohio it’s considered as a paid holiday, but I know all of us Black Americans will be in celebration all day! Why?? Juneteenth was the day Black Americans were declared totally free from slavery. TEYANA TAYLOR – THE ALBUM

Teyana Taylor finally came thru with a well organized album with dope unexpected ass features with a beautiful voice as well!! I love how she keeps her music very transparent with her life, example, the intro is the original 911 recording of when she gave birth to her daughter at home. Only Teyana can provide that type of style with her music without giving out too much of her life. I enjoy artists who can turn their life stories into art, and create a vibe that no other artist is doing currently. I see why Charlamagne, from the Breakfast Club, says that she is an underrated artist, but I think after this…she might finally gets what she been deserved a few years ago. Congratulations Teyana!!!

SMOKEPURPP – FLORIDA JIT

Smokepurpp made sure that he was putting a lil bump in your ride with this album!! As I type this I haven’t stopped bobbing my head yet!

WALE – THE IMPERFECT STORM

If y’all didn’t know…I love me some Wale, I mean his music that is LOL It’s been 10 years and he’s in this game to stay while providing some of the best music that’s being played on radio stations every where. This project will leave you feening for more, but this will do for the moment.

TEE GRIZZLEY – THE SMARTEST

Ive been waiting for Detriot native, Tee Grizzley, to drop another project. It seems like it’s been forever since the last project, but if yo ear stays close to the streets, you will know that Tee Grizzley had quite a few misfortunes happen within the last couple of years! Now he’s pouring out his stress on this dope ass project. I think Tee Grizzley is underrated, but once he gets his mind right he’ll be back to making hits!!!

ERIC BELLINGER – HORS D’OEUVRES

What’s funny is that even if Eric Bellinger didnt drop a project today he still will recvieve credit for his work on Teyana Taylor album and on Wale’s new album. Eric comes ready to make those panty dropper songs as well as songs to keep you motivated such as “Mamba Mentality”.

Sooooo…the word on the street is that someone leaked the City Girl’s singles from off there at the time forthcoming album. In response to the leaks the City Girls, chose to beat the haters and released the project last night. I’m actually glad they did because what is a summer without the City Girls?? I be needing to stay uplifted on my ratchedness, and they constantly fulfill that request for me LOL I swear I will bumping this album ALL weekend even tho it’s Father’s Day weekend, and of course I will be gifting my babydaddy a special gift. I’ll also be shaking dat ass while taking notes on how not to deal with these broke/cheap boys!!!
