Lil Keed, who is signed to Thug’s label, finally dropped his album. Keed sounds like he been is Thugger’s mini me, in a good way tho! He sounds like Yung Thug & is delivery sounds very similar to Thug too! BlocBoy JB dropped his project that will definitely get you turned up! Ybs Skola, who is currently locked up, released a project that had me playing from the beginning to the end! T.I’s son, Domani, made a dope ass project that reminds me of J Cole. Cleveland’s own Ripp Flamez dropped another wavy project that I peep is really doing well!!!

Hey guys! I swear the start to the summer of 2019 has been a little dead for real, even in music…I swear since Nipsey’s death…it’s like the dark cloud has been placed over us while we grieve. Since May 31st & June 7th music release dates were ten or less, I decided to combine both. I am praying that once we get to July that SOMETHING will spread a boost of postive energy around that these artist’s can feed off of!
Miley Cyrus released an unexpected Ep that even has Ghostface Killah featured on one of her songs!! Of course it’s mainly produced by Mike Will Made It…people are still giving her a side eye wondering if she a a culture vulture for just back in 2016 she made said that she was done with making Hip Hop music, then this happens. Denzel Curry has been the highlight of the last 2 weeks for his album is literally his way of describing his home town of Miami, Florida. Curry’s album is one that can be played at a house party having fun…truly a good spirited album.
For some reason, we thought that Lil Nas X was coming out with an Ep titled “7” until I went on his page and he made it very clear that even though he did hint about an EP, it did not mean that he was about to be releasing anything LOL Future dropped an EP that I still need to listen to again for the first listen did not due me any justice. He hardly has any turn up songs on there, and you can tell that he is trying to come with a different style…I guess, but I like Future so I will be patient. Tyga surprised me with this album…..literally a Cali style party album that truly does not disappoints his core fans…too early to say if its any summer anthems yet, but you never know! Hey guys!! I hope everyone’s week is going well so far! A really dope group called Beast Coast came out with a very nice project. I literally did not have to skip not one song!! YG came out with his new project that he really isn’t pushing enthusiastically due to Nipsey Hussle death, and still grieving. One of my favorite tracks is “LOCO” and “Snitch Nigga”, but overall the album is good! Moneybagg Yo finally dropped his project that is supposed to be catered to his original fans, like me!! I think Moneybagg did well on this album & took his time and patience with it. Rotimi & Lucky Daye are bringing out the slower grooves for the summer that I know the ladies will love. As we get closer to warmer weather, these new releases are a starting to turn up a little bit more! I still believe that Nipsey Hussle’s death is the reason why there is no real excitement in music right now. All I can hope for is eventually things will come around for the better…must stay positive even when it seems like the hardest thing to do! Dj Khaled is back with another album filtered with nothing but dope ass features!!! A few exciting ones include Cardi B, Nipsey Hussle, Chris Brown, and Meek Mill to name a few! Tyler, the Creator is back with a groovy album…when I say this man is so creative with a thinking outside of the box mentally it truly shows. One of my fave females is finally out with her own album, Megan Thee Stallion. Her album will definitely have you ready to twerk at any given time AAAHHH. Check out the other dope releases below!
