21 Savage and Metro Boomin collab “Pause” surfaced online yesterday!

Well….back in 2015, 21 Savage premiered a snippet of the song “Pause” on his Instagram page for we thought back then the song was going to be included on his and Metro Boomin collab album “Savage Mode”, but unfortunately it was not included. Thankfully, World Star Hip Hop decided to post the full version of the song yesterday on its website. I can expect all 21 Savage fans to be excited about this leak due to him sounding like the old Savage fans got know prior to his superstar status. I think it will be another hit for the “Bank Account” rapper who also recently did a collab album with OffSet & Metro Boomin called “Without Warning” back in October 2017. Click here to read more!

Xscape will be dropping a new EP without member Kandi Burress

Per Ebony, the group Xscape will be coming out with a new EP without Kandi Burress. Even though Kandi wrapped up the tour with the group, she opted to not record any new music with them. The new EP which is titled, Here For It,is due to be released on February 14th and will only feature the remaining members Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott. The EP will include six tracks including the two tracks the group released late last year while on tour called “Wifed Up” and “Dream Killa”.


The song “Wifed Up” is a song directed towards telling males that if they have a good woman to wife her up!


“Dream Killa” is about the idea of being in love with someone who keeps doing you wrong therefore killing the dream of being in a happy relationship.

I personally love the song “Dream Killa” and I am overly excited for the group EP to be released. Even without member, Kandi Burress, the remaining three’s vocals are good enough to keep me satisfied with their work.

Now, Kandi did opt to not record any new music with Xscape, but it was not due to any negative drama, its due to her starring as Matron “Mama” Morton in the Broadway play, Chicago that will be running from January 15th to March 11th at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City.

The production will star Tony award nominee, Charlotte D’Amboise as Roxie Hart, original cast member, Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, YouTube sensation and Broadway star, Todrick Hall as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Matron “Mama” Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Checking In With Grammy Nominated Producer Cash Clay Beats!

I had the pleasure to do a phone interview with Grammy nominated producer, Cash Clay Beats, a couple days prior to Christmas. Being this was my very first interview, I admit I was very nervous, but with the help of Cash Clay Beats positive energy, the vibe during the interview was overall great!

Cash Clay Beats is being nominated for producing the single, Kelly Price, off the The Migos album, The Culture. This will be the producer’s first time ever being nominated for a grammy! According to Cash Clay Beats, he has been doing music for quite some time now, first starting off as just an artist then switching to doing productions only, and shopping his beats around to those he was networking with.

An original St. Louis native, Cash Clay Beats has also produced a couple of songs for K Camp titled “Racks Like This” & “Rob Kardashian”, a single for YFN Lucci that features Trouble that just came out early December, and other songs for Boosie, & even R. Kelly! Cash Clay Beats started off as a barber, which is how he met K Camp! From being a barber is how he learned to network & promote himself. The producer advises up n coming producers to learn how to network! He states ” Sometimes you may have to network with people who are not on the 2 Chainz level, network with anyone who is involved in the music game for you never know who they might know.”

One of Cash Clay Beats goals is to produce movie soundtracks or to even work with artist as such as Katy Perry. Since he originally came from hair cutting, he will like to open up more barber shops & selling merchandise by branding his production company called Street Certified Beat Cartel.

Cash Clay Beats said to be looking out for him in 2018! He has a TV show on Comcast coming out called “The Drop”, three documentaries he is in,a compilation CD with TIG, Think Of The Game Records coming out soon, and to check out his website http://www.cashclaybeats.com for any further ventures or new music.

I know I will definitely be watching the Grammy’s this year especially since this will be the first time no Caucasian artists were nominated for “Album of the Year”, which includes Jay-Z’s the “4:44” album & Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN”. I wish Cash Clay Beats much blessings & I hope to be writing about his Grammy win!

Zenith help the official launch for the Defy Collection in New York recently with a focus on innovation & performance. The goal was to help attendees gain a better understanding thats involved into the craftmanship behind a Zenith watch. The main highklight of the night was the release of the state of the art DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, from above the attendees head, delivering a one of a kind, version of the Defy El Primo 21 Swizz Beatz Edition Unique.

On this unique timepiece, the vibrant orange of the strap is echoed by the use of orange accents on the gleaming white dial, nestled in a 44 mm white gold case fully set with a spectacular 288 round diamonds, and complemented by 44 baguette – cut counterparts on the bezel. Spreading Some Birthday Love!!

Today is my friend in my head birthday, Nicki Minaj, whose pink Lemonade braids are to die for in the “Motorsport” video, and as a 1982 baby representer, Nicki, is doing it very well! Welcome to the 35 year old club! Oh, and lastly, I have a question that has been on my mind lately….Where is ROMAN??? Just a little FYI…your fans do miss your alter egos.

I also want to send some birthay love up to the musical heavens to Sammy Davis Jr.

If alive Sammy Davis would have been blessed to see the ripe old age of 92 years old! Even though my last memories of Sammy was on The Cosby Show when he played a worried grandfather who kept bothering Dr. Huxtable over his grandchild, who was having her first baby! The little man was overall a great entertainer who could sing & tap dance his heart away, a classic!

The 50 Best Albums of 2017

Complex has composed a list of the 50 best albums of 2017!

Every December it is always some type of list to pile up the best & worst of a year, and this year is no different. You guys now I was very thirsty to take a glance at this 50 best albums of 2017 list composed by Complex once i heard about it. One of the things I noticed first is that Kendrick Lamar album “Damn” is at the top of the list at #1 and Jay-Z album “4:44″ comes in at #2. In my opinion Jay-Z should be #1, but this is not my list so carry on! LOL

My girl SZA comes in at #3 for her album ” Ctrl”. Future is right behind her at the #4 spot with his album “HNDRXX”. 2017 has actually been a great year for Future musically, he put out 2 albums at the begininng of 2017 and the 2nd album “Future” is #15 on the list! Congrats Future! Next, it’s Tyler, The Creator whose album “Flower Boy” is #5. The Migos album “Culture” is #7, Lil Uzi Vert album “Luv Is Rage 2” is #8, and Drake’s album is #8.

The one thing that caught my attention is how Grammy nominated Rapsody album “Laila’s Wisdom” came in at #13 on the list. Again, in my opinion, her album should’ve been more at the top of the list and caused me to stop reading LOL (my emotions)to read more on Complex list of the Best 50 Albums of 2017 click here.
