Trouble Mane Da Don – 1 Day Ft. MO3

Trouble Mane Da Don announces the release of his new single “1 Day” feat. MO3.

Trouble Mane Da Don is a talented rap artist with a unique, diverse, and forward-thinking approach. He recently struck up a collaboration with another gifted and charismatic act: MO3. The pair worked on a fantastic new single titled “1 Day,” which serves as a fantastic introduction to their skills and creative vision 1 Day is a direct and thought-provoking single, which feels like a striking combination of modern hip-hop and other influences, including the undying sounds of the golden age of the genre, which are definitely here to stay. Not many artists can easily pull off a project that features such a wide variety of elements and influences. The most obvious risk is that the material can end up sounding quite disconnected and loose – but this is not the case.

Trouble Mane Da Don is a master at creating organic, cohesive, and consistent vibes, which really flow well throughout the span of this release. Collaborating with MO3 was a great way to make this song happen and give it a unique twist. The performances are loaded with passion and integrity, while the production aesthetics are also excellent. The mixing quality is indeed world-class, with some amazing definition in the top end and lots of punch in the low-end and midrange. The results sound warm and present, yet never harsh or fatiguing, which is quite an amazing achievement, particularly in this genre.

Stream “1 Day” here on preferred platforms and stay tuned for “Watch Over Me” feat. Boosie Badazz set to release on 12/20.

J. Waiters Ft. John Jigg$ – Walk A Mile (Video)

R&B sensation J. Waiters and Hip Hop heavyweight John Jigg$ unite for a chilling, air gasping video. “Walk a Mile” is produced by Poetic Killa with video production by Footprint the Movement.

While wearing a t-shirt that reads “get your knee off our necks”, J. Waiters sets a gripping scene with raw emotion. The intro speaks volumes of truth that pushes the underlying issue of not knowing what it is to be a black man in America.

The duo describes their personal everyday struggles as well as societal struggles. From racism and injustices to violence and murder, from lack of support and children to educate, J. Waiters and John Jigg$ unleash a compelling blend of vocals and lyricism hopeful to ignite a revolutionary spark. How can you overcome life’s distressing genocides while living black? NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS

MEGAN THEE STALLION – GOOD NEWS

I truly love Megan’s whole feeling on this album. Yea she starts the album off with a song that’s totally dedicated to Tory Lanez, but after that theirs nothing but feel good, twerk worthy, and bopping your head type of songs. I swear I also heard a Pop friendly track as well! Megan released a quality piece of work, and I can not wait to see her work this album.

JEEZY – THE RECESSION 2

I told everybody on Tina with the Tea about two weeks ago that Jeezy announced that he was coming out with The Recession 2, and I was excited. This was all due to the fact that the first Recession was a classic!! I had to ask myself… Can he make a part two a classic?? After my first listen, I can say that Jeezy has some dope content on this project, but its too early to say if this album is a classic yet. Overall expect to really get your bop on during this album, and have discussions about the features on it as well.

SAINT JHN – WHILE THE WORLD WAS BURNING

I like this album! Outside of the dope features, the artist handles this album very well on his own. I was blessed to have listened to his last project, and now hearing this new one lets me know that Saint JHN is an artist who will be very relevant.

DABABY – MY BROTHER’S KEEPER EP (LONG LIVE G)

First off RIP to DaBaby’s older brother! This ep sounds like a letter to his deceased brother and as a form of healing for himself as well. They say the best way to express your feelings is thru writing, and this project still is LIT in it’s own way.

MEEK MILL – QUARANTINE PACK

Im a need yall to leave Meek Mill alone! LOL This ep alone should remind people that Meek will always bring that HEAT to the game! I hope a whole body of work is coming next!!!

RUSS – CHOMP

Russ knows how to bless his fans with a project that literally shows the world that for one he clearly does not give AF, and that he is a rapper to be taken serious!

BILLY DANZE – THE LISTENING SESSION

Billy Danze from the group M.O.P. is out letting yall know that he is STILL very present in the game, and is still a force to be reckoned with! Trust me when I say that some of the features on this project are too LIT!!!

KALI UCHIS – SIN MIEDO (DEL AMOR Y OTRAS DEMONIOS)

Kali Uchis is still an underrated artist in this music industry fr! She fits great in the R&B and Latin music as well! Kali’s music has a sweet, but hood feel to it that compliments her beautiful voice. Im glad she finally dropped a project for her true fans.

FRENCH MONTANA – CB5

It’s been awhile since French Montana dropped an album that is catered more to the streets for his last 2 projects were straight commercial! Of course there’s nothing wrong with making music that will succeed commercially, but it tends to lose an artists hard core fans. I think with this project his fans will be satisfied!

RICH THE KID x NBA YOUNGBOY – NOBODY SAFE

Seeing these 2 together on a project got me excited! Even the singles that are on the radio now are banging!

YSN FLOW – LONG STORY SHORT

I think we might have another young hitter from Cleveland who coming out hard, and this mixtape is a great example of that! For one I appreciate how the mixtape has a flow that keeps you boppin your head, and YSN Flow has real lyrics.

Seasra23 x Apokalips The Archangel “1137Q” (LP)

Seasra23 of TopShelfMuzik and Apokalips the Archangel release their new project 1137Q. The 19-track album produced entirely by Seasera23 features top-notch elites including DJ GlibStylez, DJ Modesty, Foul Monday, Lex, Kesper, Crippled, Hoffa, Supreme Sniper, Voices De Silencio, D-Rex, Illy the Wise, and Godfather part 3.

TopShelfMuzik and Apokalips the Archangel have become known for keeping Queens on the map when it comes to authentic NY Hip Hop, and 1137Q is no exception. Seasra23 delivers sheer ‘fix-your face’ head-nodding cadences while Apokalips administers top quality rhymes with knockout, lyrical jabs.

On Dangerous Minds Apokalips embodies a Queens-thoroughbred lifestyle while showing off his impeccable booth profession.  He drills an image being hand in hand with forty’s and spray cans rocking Polo plaid, yet a leader who always shows face and is never undercover. There’s no escaping the “dangerous mind” of this lyrical militant or his bars that sink to the pit of our stomachs.

In Straight Out The Zoo Apokalips represents his Queen’s roots and exemplifies the similarities of street and wildlife survival as well as a strong-armed emcee preying on fallacious industry players. All the stress keep a ni**a depressed until I’m vexed then the whole world feeling possessed / Never rest Top Shelf Hip-Hop in effect / Apokalips stay humble no need to impress / I got next cancel the haters and the special effects / when I flex call me the finisher snatching your breathe to the death.”

Another lead off the album is Aggression. Set in a boxing ring going round for round, bar for bar, and verse for verse, “mumbling buffoons” are reminded that Hip Hop runs through Apokalips blood-line and will continue to keep it real until his last breath.

An unforgettable track and hair-raising one is Cycles of Life which depicts the gifts and curses of life. Surrounded by dead bodies, mothers crying, and mankind fighting to become survival of the fittest; it only makes sense to embrace what lies ahead. Apokalips vows his lyrics and spirit will live on through his family until his resurrection…

Each track is unique in flow and deliverance, yet consistent with a boom-bap vibe sure to please Hip Hop purists worldwide. Stream 1137Q and connect with Seasra23 of TopShelfMuzik and Apokalips the Archangel below.

Arrested Development Release ONYA For Election 2020

ONYA is defined as blessed one and the sun

While the critically acclaimed, new full-length album ‘Don’t Fight Your Demons’ continues to take music entertainment by storm, Arrested Development releases a new single dedicated to the election of 2020.

“ONYA” bestows a gripping testament that only Arrested Development can justly deliver. It not only embodies distressing truths surrounding the electoral process, but it depicts racial irony in a stunning, yet tangible manner. “Us blacks should sell confederate flags to red necks. Get rich it’s the ultimate in payback”!

Steering its way through mind-blowing lyrics is hope. Hope that a brighter future can exist. “See life in color again, see wife as lover and friend, see God as giver not taker, sacred in making me win, sunny without the blues, money without abuse, honey I’m home, in a zone let’s make it do what it do”!

Over cinematic production that pulsates rigorously through the core, the 2x Grammy Award-winning group delivers yet another timely masterpiece not only for music history but also for brothers and sisters to embrace worldwide.

As usual 2Chainz presents to us another project that is complete FIRE! From the beginning to the end has been no song that I skipped past. His features like Mulatto, Kanye, NBA Youngboy, and others just adds to the dopeness of this album.

DANILIEIGH – MOVIE

It’s been 2 years since Danileigh has released a project, and for this 2nd time around she chose to go more personal and sensual….with a title named “Movie” I was wondering what type of movie is she referring to?? After listening to the first 2 tracks I think you will get the idea LOL Overall, it’s good to see the different layers of an artist as they evolve in their career.

PINK SIIFU X FLY ANAKIN – FLYSIIFU

If you are looking for dope beats with rhymes that make you not only vibe, but think a little as well….this is the project you have been looking for! I admit when the album first came on I was a little confused at first. Now 4 songs later…I am really vibing! There’s hardly any features, but these artists carried this project on there own anyways.

K-TRAP – STREET SIDE EFFECTS

This project is pretty forreal! What I really like is how K-Trap conveys his thoughts in his raps. Listening to him will have you thinking that you are literally there in his story line, and I think that’s super dope!

DAVIDO – A BETTER TIME

Davido presents to us a beautiful album that represents nothing but positivity and having a good time. Of course there’s dope features like Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Nas and many more to add to this dope project!

GOODIE MOB – SURVIVAL KIT

One of Atlanta’s legendary groups is blessing us with an album after a decade has passed and still can be put up against the best in the game now! What makes this album soooo classic already is the fact that Outkast makes a presence on this album as well! If that doesn’t get you excited to check this album out, I literally don’t know what else to tell ya.

Big Mali’s project is one that yall better check out! With features from Dababy, Asian Doll, and Rich The Kid guarantees certified bangers.

KODAK BLACK – BILL ISREAL

Kodak Black is finally back releasing music from the pen. It caused so much noise that he was trending on Twitter due to the fact that we still have yet to get a album from Playboi Carti!!! Kodak usually bless us with albums that has about 20 tracks, but due to his circumstance he only gives us 10 tracks. Either way I am too pumped, and he made sure to give his fans what we have been missing!

BLAC YOUNGSTA – FUCK EVERYBODY 3

I had a feeling that Blac Youngsta was going to release a solo project after his collaborative effort with Moneybagg Yo. the third installment to Blac Youngsta’s “Fuck Everybody” series has dope features from your favorite artists, but what I like about Blac Youngsta is that his lyrics really conveys a message that initially I think people did not catch on to. Now he is an artist that comes with good projects consistently and this installment is the same.

KING VON SHOOTING IN ATLANTA: MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER IN CHICAGO-BORN RAPPER’S DEATH

King Von

ATLANTA (WLS) — A 22-year-old man has been charged in the Atlanta shooting death of an up-and-coming Chicago-born rapper.

Timothy Leeks faces a felony murder charge in the death of Dayvon Bennett, also known as King Von.

Leeks is in police custody at an Atlanta hospital, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound.

Three people were killed, including King Von, after a confrontation outside an Atlanta club that ended in gunfire early Friday morning, according to police.

Two off-duty Atlanta officers were working an extra job at a local hookah lounge when they saw two groups of men arguing with each other outside the establishment around 3:20 a.m. Friday, police said.

Officials said the argument quickly escalated to gunfire between the two groups.

One of the off-duty officers, along with an on-duty APD officer who was patrolling nearby, confronted the shooters and shots were also fired during the encounter with police.

Three people were transported to the hospital by EMS with gunshot wounds, and three others were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Two additional people were detained on the scene, police said.

Officials confirmed Friday afternoon that three of the people shot died from their injuries, and three others were still being treated at the hospital. The officers involved were not injured, police said.
Rumors surrounding the incident claimed Bennett was killed by police gunfire, but APD officials said their investigators believe the rapper “was shot during the initial shootout between the two groups of males, prior to police responding and attempting to stop the shooting.”

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations was requested to respond and investigate the officer-involved shooting aspect of the incident. APD homicide investigators also responded and are investigating the deaths.
Officials said part of the investigations will include determining which individuals were struck by gunfire from the suspects and whether any were struck by gunfire from the officers.

Charges are anticipated against the two suspects detained on-scene…
