Following the release of his highly acclaimed new EP, Deserted Oceans, iconic New Mexico artist, Def-i, drops the video for his second single, “Pearls.”
“Pearls” showcases the depth of Def-i’s skills on the mic; his lyrics are purposeful and his wordplay is nuanced. Veteran SoCal artist Ariano’s production is a knocking blend of jazzy and spiritual undertones.
The video for “Pearls” mimics Def-i’s music…it’s clean, deceptively complex and stands on its own without being held up by distracting fillers. The imagery focuses solely on Def-i, switching from the pristine backdrop of the desert juxtaposed against the grit and garbage of back alleys.

Cuban Pete is proof of why the golden era that raised him is termed just that; everything he flows on turns to gold. Born in the West Midlands, and now living in the North East of England, Cuban is a true recording artist that has collaborated with such industry veterans as Erick Sermon, Krumbsnatcha, Blaq Poet, Tragedy Khadafi, and more. While his hands do extend firmly across the ocean he has also worked with other UK acts such as Ramson Badbones, Arise King David, Trademark BLUD, and more. Cuban represents that era when MC’s weren’t afraid to speak on issues, were not scared of reprisal from the media, and wackness was called out. Originality was rife and style was essential. While his rhymes do sometimes capture nostalgia for the golden era he is not trapped by it or scared to try different styles of Hip Hop while still remaining focused on what got him interested in Hip Hop in the first place; lyrics. C75 Live is the music imprint that Cuban started with the aim of helping other artists succeed, with aims to turn it into a label when the time is right. He is currently signed as an artist under management to Fear Nothing But God Records (FNBG).
ONE SON drops the single “One Son Tzu” from the new project “One Son Tzu: Art Of War”. The song was produced by Green Tea Musik and is the lead single for his seventh release. The single is being added to college radio stations, and several mixshows in the US and abroad.
