Hey guys!! It’s your girl Mz Slimgoody and I am back with my list of new releases to check out!!! I have a new way that I will be posting about the new music releases that I like, and I hope you guys will love it, so make sure to stay tuned!!! Trust…that you will be seeing more of my lovely face!!

Now, lets get into this list!!! Since July came in I can say that majority of the music has been pretty lit providing hella fun energy into any situation. Beyonce did a great job with the soundtrack to The Lion King even Blue has made history by being the youngest person to contribute to an album!!! That deserves a major shout out!! Iggy Azalea finally dropped her project since 2014!! It’s not my particular vibe , but very high energy packed with a couple of twerking songs gives the album a decent vibe. Yella Beezy has a nice project especially the song that features Chris Brown on it, y’all do know that anything with Chris Brown on it is guaranteed to make somebody’s charts. I was shocked to find out that the rapper Cassidy had dropped a project, and even more shocked to hear that he still got it!! I was on his Instagram the other day just in awe that he still has the persistence to keep going with dope lyrics to match.

I am a new fan of Burna Boy…he makes that type of African music that resonates with my age group or even younger! I love the vibe of his album, like I can not imagine being in a bad mood while listening to his album. A guy to whom I never heard of before, who goes by the name, NF, has a really nice album out, and I just heard today that he his numbers are pretty high to be somewhat unknown, but once you hear his album you can see why his streaming levels are high! E40 dropped a dope project as if he was back in his prime!!! All the tracks are dope, and he got hella features from some of your favorite artists which makes his album even more enjoyable!

Hey guys!! I had the pleasure to interview such a talented individual who is an Actor, Beatmaker, Writer, Activist, Father & a Husband!!!!!! This individual is a 3x Best Supporting Actor Nominee at the Ohio Indy Fest, Best Actor Nominee at the 2018 Las Vegas Film Fest, currently has a mixtape out called “Crown”, and will be releasing an LP titled “The Black Crown”!!!

I swear I am out of breath just typing this! LOL This talent to whom I speak of name is Brandon X Bell, who also goes by Blackstate, his performing name. I was so excited to do this interview. I had to sit for a minute and think like damn! I need to find time in my busy life to update my friends on some good music to check out! How can you have a City Girl summer without adding the original to the mix?? PERIOD…Gucci Mane, my #1 trap God, dropped a decent album…honestly, since he is the skinny Gucci…I doubt that we will ever get that old Gucci classic feeling ever again, but I will still listen & enjoy of course! Mr. 80xs platinum, Lil Nas X, dropped his EP, and I still have my own thoughts about it…it’s not bad while it’s not as big as “Old Time Road”.

Jay Greezy looks to be on his way with this breakout single that is already a radio hit! When I first seen the video, I did not expect for his delivery to be on point with the beat, then all of a sudden I found myself bopping my head with the song on repeat!! Honestly, who can not relate to the saying “watch out for the snakes in the grass”?? Not saying that everyone is a snake, but to be cautious out here in these streets!!!

Hey guys! I swear the start to the summer of 2019 has been a little dead for real, even in music…I swear since Nipsey’s death…it’s like the dark cloud has been placed over us while we grieve. Since May 31st & June 7th music release dates were ten or less, I decided to combine both. I am praying that once we get to July that SOMETHING will spread a boost of postive energy around that these artist’s can feed off of!

Miley Cyrus released an unexpected Ep that even has Ghostface Killah featured on one of her songs!! Of course it’s mainly produced by Mike Will Made It…people are still giving her a side eye wondering if she a a culture vulture for just back in 2016 she made said that she was done with making Hip Hop music, then this happens. Denzel Curry has been the highlight of the last 2 weeks for his album is literally his way of describing his home town of Miami, Florida. Curry’s album is one that can be played at a house party having fun…truly a good spirited album.

For some reason, we thought that Lil Nas X was coming out with an Ep titled “7” until I went on his page and he made it very clear that even though he did hint about an EP, it did not mean that he was about to be releasing anything LOL Future dropped an EP that I still need to listen to again for the first listen did not due me any justice. He hardly has any turn up songs on there, and you can tell that he is trying to come with a different style…I guess, but I like Future so I will be patient. Tyga surprised me with this album…..literally a Cali style party album that truly does not disappoints his core fans…too early to say if its any summer anthems yet, but you never know! Hey y’all!!! I am back and better than ever!!! I usually would’ve made my post by now, but a LAME actually went and got my original Facebook page that I had since 2007 disabled indefinitely. While I am upset that it’s some old pictures I wished I had the chance to save to my Google drive, but overall I am going to look at it as a way to re-brand myself in hopes to get my voice heard!

On to better news….You guys do know the show that I am the co host of #hitormisssundays and on Cinco De Mayo, we had episode #6, with tacos & margaritas!! We also had a lot of dope submissions from female artists who singles are LIT!! I can say that was a first for me to witness since I been affiliated with the show, and episode #6 reached over 3, 000 views!!!!!!! I truly appreciate everyone who have watched or shared the live show!!!

This weeks list of new releases was not too hyped, and I truly blame the death of Nipsey Hussle as to why nothing really LIT has been released. I will find the light at the end of the tunnel to lead you guys to some dope ass music! Rupaul released a nice & dance worthy album that I guarantee will keep you in good spirits. I truly love Rupaul’s vocals on this album…it made me feel as if he was in his 30’s singing LOL PnB Rock returns with a sophomore double album that has a different vibe than the first. I heard that some people was complaining about it, but it’s not bad and I think he will have some dope summer singles off of it too.

Jacob Latimore’s new album is literally a vibe! I listened to his album about 5xs already. OMB Peezy album is nice…I admit that I didn’t expect to much of substance from him so to say that I wasn’t surprised is a damn lie LOL He also has a lot of dope features with one of them being T.I. It’s a new artist from Memphis that is bringing the noise! Imagine a cross between Yung Dolph and a young Yo Gotti….Co Cash project will guarantee that your bass will be thumping while listening to this young artist rip every song, and has a dope feature Lil Yatchy will keep you wanting more!
