This hot single was voted a “HIT” on one of my Hit Or Miss Sundays episodes. Me, Cream and Dj Raven all agreed that this song was a “hit”. We all loved the song Fat for it’s definitely a ladies anthem with such a dope ass vibe, and ever since Fat Fly Freddie Lee has been pushing this single ever since. Hey guys!!! This week was fairly quiet due to the untimely death of rapper, Nipsey Hussle. Artist, Khalid, finally dropped his album which contains nothing but feel good tracks that provides a whole vibe..imagine riding around your city with the top down vibing to his album singing along to his catchy hooks. Boosie, one of my favorite artists, dropped with an album that makes me feel as if he actually took time & patience to work on for he made sure to rap about recent topics, reminiscing about 90’s, love life, cannabis, and that good ole ratchet shit too!
King Combs dropped an EP, that reminds me of his father, Sean Combs, due to a lot of the samples that were used for this project. What I do respect about King Combs project is the fact that he is testing his sound & style. He has one song with Ty Dolla $ign then turn around with a song featuring the City Girls. I think that is so dope for it allows him to see what style works for him musically, and to see what songs his fans love the most too! The major plus is he does not sound like his father rapping…AMEN lol

There is a new artist, Money Mu, from out of Atlanta who dropped his first mix tape, and I want to advise to keep an eye on him. The first song off his mix tape “Eat” is a guaranteed hit! I’m a feature it on my next Dope Artist’s post! Check out the rest of the new releases of the week!!

Albums like this allows me to appreciate how the 90’s hip hop truly played a major role in my life. Listening to Alchemist productions throughout the album felt so nostalgic, but missed. I never thought I would see Freddie Gibbs & Curren$y on a project together…Nope…they seem like 2 different styles!

You have Curren$y with the smoke a joint & get on this jet high flow mixed with Freddie Gibbs deep alto gritty sound telling all these vivid dope boy stories on top of beats that made me think Prodigy was going to scream “Yo Dunn” in the chorus!
