As a special birthday gift to the world, Wayne will be FINALLY releasing his much anticipated album “The Carter V” at midnight tonight!!! I also found out that Wayne like Diddy, has now joined the liquor making lane, it’s called Bumbo, and is supposed to be a special type of Rum.
I got hip to his drink while watching the most recent episode of Drink Champs, Noreaga’s hot podcast show and on this episode JaRule and Noreaga was sipping on Bumbo! I noticed they kept saying it was very smooth with a ginger type of taste to give you an island feel. Hey, maybe Wayne wouldn’t mind being sponsors to the Hit or Miss show…got to speak greatness into existence! LOL

With features including 6lack, Jaden Smith, T-Shyne & Elton John this is a strong EP for Thug. In my opinion, you can tell that he is evolving with his music while still staying true to himself. So.. had the chance to bless my lovely appearance at a listening party for one of Cleveland’s hottest artists on the COME UP!!
The management group, Bandz Gang Management, threw a nice listening party for up n coming Cleveland artist, Artinka Teaira, appriopiately called “The Showcase”.
Once I got there I was instantly excited to see that the parking lot was filled with people who was there for the listening party too!
While waiting for the main event I was very entertained by all the artists who performed. My only disappointment was noticing how a couple of the performers did not remember the words to their own song…I am very particular about “presentation”… for your first impression will always be remembered & will determine if you gained a new fan, but with good practice & management I know they can do well for I did find myself vibing to their music.
Now….once Artinka Teaira finally graced the stage, she truly turned the place up! Artinka has a style that can offer variety for she can sing and rap AND have subject matter that me and my momma can relate to. I even noticed how majority of the females already knew the words to her songs and felt what she was saying. I even found myself bopping my head left and right to her music LOL
From when she first entered the stage, Artinka, gave me the feeling that she is a cool person, and she did prove to be as such when I introduced myself to her! When I say I had a great time??? I truly did! Any time I can enjoy some good music with people whose energy was so cool…I truly appreciate it!

One of my favorite groups, N.E.R.D., performed at the ComplexCon, at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California. What makes this performance standout is that N.E.R.D., who consists of Chad Hugo & Pharell Wiliams, performed the entire album to “No_One Ever Really Dies”.
Just last week the group released the single “Lemon” which features Rihanna coming in with a nice flow on the beat! Watch the video below!
Now do not get too excited….The album has no release date as of yet, but per the performance,we can assume that the album will feature Gucci Mane, Wale, Future, Kendrick Lamar, M.I.A., Andre 3000, and Ed Sheeran. That list alone has me already too anxious for it to be released! Check it out below:

The tape initially appeared on DatPiff on Wednesday (Aug. 16), causing Lil B to call out the mixtape site for posting his project before its release date and then locking him out of his own user profile on the site. Soon after, Based God told Twitter everything had been resolved.
Black Ken is entirely produced by Lil B himself, and iLoveMakonnen is the only feature. Based God calls it his “first official mixtape” and is a tribute to artists like Kanye West, Iggy Azalea, Lupe Fiasco, Charles Hamilton and others.
Thursday (Aug. 17) is also Lil B’s 28th birthday.
