How to access your Stimulus checks

With President Trump signing the massive $2.2. trillion coronavirus stimulus bill last week after it sped through Congress, many Americans will soon receive a much-needed handout from the government in the form of cash payments of up to $1,200 per person.
The amount of money each individual will receive from the federal government will vary depending on one’s income, marital status and number of children – for more on that CLICK HERE – but Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said over the weekend that he hopes to have the money sent out in the next three weeks (although some experts say it could take much longer given the scale of the payments and how long previous stimulus checks took to arrive in the mail.)
While it is fairly straightforward for Americans to figure out how much money they will receive from the federal government, how they will get the money is a little less clear. To clear up some confusion, Fox News has answered some of the most pressing questions about how Americans will receive their stimulus money.

Jay Electronica vs Dr. EnQi vs Jay-Z

Jay Electronica vs Dr. EnQi vs Jay-Z, as stated/reviewed by Raamel Walcott

Let’s dive right in head-first, this will be a song for song comparison of A Written Testimony vs Sound Becomes Light. The Overwhelming Event vs Magnetism. Magnetism is a super authentic fan forward view of Dr. EnQi discussing Fancy Black Pesos. This gives us an amazingly detailed picture of Dr. EnQi that we never met in the conscious community. The Overwhelming Event fails to stand up to Magnetism simply because it says nothing about Jay Electronica, although Farrakhan is a powerful speaker and the music is amazing it’s not as powerful of an introduction as we expected based on the wait. The intro should have addressed the wait.

Ghost of Soulja Slim vs Nature vs Nurture! It starts with more Farrakhan & Jay-Z moving into Jay Elect with a bar stating “If it come from me and HOV consider it Koran…” This is, unfortunately, more of an eclectic Jay-Z song feat Jay Elect than anything else honestly, so I must deduct points from an otherwise amazing song musically and lyrically. Nature vs Nurture is an amazing entendre filled description of Dr. EnQi’s life perspective of the world and how it came to be, it’s pure art! His voice and the spacing on this track from Kaz are something from another universe.

The Blinding vs Yayo! This JZ feature feels like an actual feature and Jay Elect shines on this track answering some of our questions regarding the long wait and who he has become. The music is awesome and would have allowed for a sorely needed extra verse to go more in-depth, still awesome! Yayo is an immaculately told compelling story of Dr. EnQi’s childhood. Jay Elect may be incapable of reaching this level of introspective storytelling that evokes Synesthesia in all who hear it like a jolt to the pineal gland.

The Neverending Story vs Power…very powerful! The sonic geometry of the bass on this song produced by Work Major is pure Hip-Hop, almost like the cement of the Bronx. I just feel a level of authenticity that you get from all the name dropping and coat tail riding on A Written Testimony. The world play on Power might even be above Jay-Z’s level, this is an instant top 10 of an all-time song lyrically. The Neverending Story is loaded with amazing power, but over-shadowed by one of the best Jay-Z verses ever, unfortunately for Jay Elect. Great song but we can’t overlook the fact that he is getting bodied on his own track in a very blatant fashion.

Shiny Suit Theory vs the Basquiat! Finally, a completely masterful Jay Elect song complete with music that compliments his outer worldly God flow. Not even JZ takes away from the synergy of this beat with Jay Elect’s voice and delivery, the samples make this an instant favorite for Jay Elect fans worldwide. Dr. EnQi’s voice, lyrics, delivery, and expertise on said subject matter catapult him into possibly the top 3 all-time or the Mt. Rushmore of lyricists. After listening to this song alone he at least qualifies for the top 5, worst-case scenario due to his effortless double, triple and quadruple entendre schemes! Easily the best verse in the last 10 years hands down. RKITECH really laid out the blueprint on this track!

Universal Soldier vs Seed Money… Seed Money produced by Spectrum Gamma Rayz aka Spectrum Gamz is insane, you literally feel the streets of Motown and Detroit alive with blood of the many prophets of music and black leadership in this artistic dramatization of drugs, money & private prisons. This is lyrical mastery on a first album like we have never witnessed before! Lyrically the Universal Soldier may be the best song on the album with Jay Elect laying out some of what he has been through, combined with a trip through memory lane from the God MC J-Hova, no words can express the feelings from this song! This may go on repeat in many playlists.

Flux Capacitor vs Sound Becomes Light, sadly, Jay Elect’s verse does not fit well on this track, however sonically, the bars are standard ‘God flow’, combined with Jay and the production for classic ear candy. Sound Becomes Light as a song is monumental and should earn Dr. EnQi a GRAMMY. He literally broke down post-grad level electromagnetism and the music business in one song in a way no artist or orator has ever been able to do with music or in lecture format. This is another song that takes this man who had a 9 year single out in Angel into a class by himself.

Fruits of the Spirit vs Faith in Love. This comparison may seem odd but what I hear in both songs are two intelligent black fathers trying to be the best dads they can be and in that space, I will just say these two songs should be spinning on all P-1 stations twice a show.

Ezekiel’s Wheel vs Angel, these two songs are matched head to head based on the subject matter and the deeply melodic accouterment that accompanies the heavy lyrics and deep voices of these two artists, who dropped similar albums at almost the same time. I will give Jay Elect the edge on this one in terms of lyrics and word-play however the subject matter goes to Dr. EnQi all day. Dr. EnQi again condenses the complex and creates an adult conversation that gives his entire album so much replay value.

A.P.I.D.T.A. vs More than M.E./M.E. & Eu. You may say it’s not fair to compare 1 song to 2 songs but honestly, there’s just so much more on Sound Becomes Light than A Written Testimony. We waited a decade for just 10 songs with no real dressing, personality or skits. Musically I have to say Silent Riot Dell was masterful on the M.E. & Eu track which transports the listener to a pleasure-centric planet in a similar vein to A.P.I.D.T.A. however, lyrically More than M.E. is an anthem for single fathers across the globe, no contest.

Sound Becomes Light is easily better than A Written Testimony and supplies 1000 times more replay value than any album we have gotten in recent history. Sound Becomes Light is 15 songs and 6 skits deep but the crazy thing is even the skits are well produced with amazingly Mastered Tracks.

Dr. EnQi speaks on Shooting at Umar Johnson

Dr. EnQi speaks on Shooting at Umar Johnson…

To begin, Dr. EnQi states those are rumors based on his video, “Rabbit Got The Gun.”  He has an album being released by the United Plates of America based on the urban documentary, SOULCRAFT. The buzz and frenzy are pretty intense leading people to chatter about the leading single “Rabbit Got The Gun” as if it was based on actual events. Dr. EnQi commented about receiving countless calls, texts, and messages about sticking up Polight and Saneter, pistol-whipping Billy Carson, and several other fallacies.

Key green portrait

To truly comprehend you need to listen and watch the visuals. He states, “I just spoke to the feelings of the community being outraged at the scams and fake sh$t! People are realizing Polight probably even scammed Dr. Sebi with the story of Diabetes so many have lost time and money, it’s sad. We were all fooled!”

“The music is just the next chapter in the Soulcraft Urban Documentary Series. There is no way to completely address the soul without dealing with the effects of music on biochemistry. I have been renamed by some of my more passionate followers as FOTS short for Founder of the Soul.”

The album isn’t about robbing and kidnapping Muslims or conscious teachers, rather, according to Dr. EnQi, it’s Binaural Beat Science and Cymatics in Synesthesia combined with “The Love Below” and “Get Rich or Die Trying” and a splash of “Thank Me Later.”

“Industry insiders are calling the album the dawn of a new era in rap” -Dr. EnQi

Dr. EnQi is the first-ever authentic leader from the conscious community to fill a huge void for music in their niche or growing subculture. J. Cole, David Banner, and others have attempted to pass themselves off as part of the conscious movement, but according to Dr. EnQi, they are seen as frauds by the community. The album is produced by WorkMajor, Madd Bass, RKitech & EssMan, and collectively they have produced for Jodeci, Eminem, D12, 50, Naughty by Nature, Sticky Fingaz, Tyrese, The Hit Squad, EPMD, Fat Joe, Keith Murray, Buckshot, G-Unit, KSolo, Def Jam, Universal, Interscope, Sony, Warner, Bad Boy, Tommy Boy, and Atlantic Records.

The 18-track album tackles the crack epidemic, private prisons, Cointellpro, the definition to be woke/conscious in 2020, conscious socializing, Social Media, conscious consumption, nature vs nurture, raising children, divorce, child support, domestic violence, the science of sound/light, music business, digital footprints, legacy, and believe it or not, much more!

“Accepting there’s a huge community without any musical representation has created a gold-rush mentality, however, we need conscious artists to tap into it. This album is a global classic, and it’s both amazing and refreshing how ‘street’ it is while remaining highly conscious.”  The album is coming soon, so stay tuned! Watch “Rabbit Got The Gun” and connect with @DrEnQi on Instagram and YouTube.

Def-i releases a new project, ‘Deserted Oceans’

Iconic New Mexico hip hop artist Def-i drops his highly anticipated sixth studio project, Deserted Oceans.

Check out the album https://foundation-media.ffm.to/dessertedoceans

Continuing 2019’s Dream Trails magic, Def-i teams up once again with veteran SoCal producer and artist Ariano on Deserted Oceans. Titled after a clever twist on where each artist hails from (Def-i from the deserts of New Mexico, Ariano from the beaches of the West Coast), the album is an elevated version of the artistry fans have come to expect from Def-i.

Deserted Oceans showcases Def-i in his prime – His lyrics are purposeful, and his wordplay nuanced, laden with intelligent metaphors and double entendre. His MC stylings are multi-faceted, flowing effortlessly from rapid-fire bars to a slowed-down cadence. His message speaks naked truth to power, underpinned with hope and positivity.

The production on the album is moody, raw and heavy with bass. Ariano manages to underscore his hard-hitting production with an ethereal quality that lays a solid foundation for Def-i to – as Ariano puts it – “rap his ass off.”

Deserted Oceans brings together coast-to-coast talent, with features from Atlanta rapper T.R.3 and visuals from Memphis-based visual artist, Nosey42, from New Mexico-based violinist Sage Cornelius and poet, writer and artist Tanaya Winder, to West Coast artists Ami Kim, Josh Dominguez, DJ LDontheCut, and of course, Ariano.

Fantom of the Beat “Look Out Boy” Video Ft. Rhymrcka

2x Grammy-nominated Haas G (of The UMC’s) aka Fantom of the Beat and Rhymrcka exude incomparable producer/emcee chemistry in “Look Out Boy.” The single/video takes the lead off Fantom’s “Audiodrome” album, available everywhere music is sold.

Fantom of the Beat presents “Audiodrome” the album on Spotify and Apple Music

Fantom weaves together an intense blend of melodic soul, aggressive bass, and piercing drums as a canvas for Rhymrcka to flow over. The ‘look out’ theme is reiterated throughout the record by Rhymrcka’s cutthroat lyrics and punchlines.

Not new to the game, the streets, or life; this duo lead with transparent footsteps and eyes wide open. They’re able to shine in the day and move in darkness simply because they’re immune to haters and the snake-like venom they spew. Fantom and Rhymrcka are ahead of the ops, unloyal dime pieces, crews with hidden agendas, and even envious family members.

“Look Out Boy” is a simple message delivered NY style, leaving traces of armor, concrete chalk, and dusted flames behind.  Watch “Look Out Boy” and connect with NY’s notorious duo below.

D Prime 215 “What They Tell Us” Video

Philly’s own prolific emcee, D Prime 215 delivers more mind-blowing realities in his latest video “What They Tell Us.” The single/video, produced by Johann Sebastian, is off Prime’s latest “Sacred Mantra” EP, available on all major platforms.

“Mass media controls how many people get their news. The issue is, it’s not always accurate or close to it. When it comes to Black Folk, accurate isn’t even a thought most of the time. Negative statistics and stereotypes permeate the media as the overpowering narrative. This one-sided narrative is viewed as Gospel by those who don’t come in to contact with Black Folk on a regular basis if at all. As a Black Man, being viewed as the sum of negativity is asinine to me, as if that’s ALL we are. This record is my 2 Cents on it. I present to you “What They Tell Us.” Press Play.” – D Prime 215

The video is a simple one, just D Prime walking through his city of brotherly love. Because of his intricate wordplay and ingenious lyricism, there’s no need for gimmicks to entice viewers in. Also, a mini-film or animation, etc., would just take away from Prime’s lyrical declaration.

Prime addresses stereotypes placed on African Americans repeatedly for centuries. He also claims his human stance, free of felonies and other negative connotations. He goes on to mention that deliberately damaging advancements for African Americans must come to an end.  It makes you raise an eyebrow and wonder if others were just born jealous.  Prime delivers his revolutionary rhymes over chilling, hair-raising production blended with classic cuts and scratches. Watch “What They Tell Us” and connect with D Prime 215 and Johann Sebastian below.

About D Prime 215

In the English language, the word “Prime” is defined as “of first importance”. One could certainly say that Philadelphian emcee D Prime 215 has christened himself appropriately, as hip-hop has been of first importance in this young man’s life since he picked up a pad and pen in 2009. You can hear the warm, “golden era” sounds of J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest and hometown heroes The Roots pulsing through his music, but with an updated, current twist. Prime’s held his own on wax with underground veterans like Reef the Lost Cauze, Hezekiah and Has-Lo, and shared the stage with heavyweight names such as Torae and Marco Polo. His approach is straightforward, his words honest, and his work ethic diligent. D Prime 215 is on a mission to create songs that stand the test of time, and with his unique blend of the old and the new, he’s sure to accomplish just that.
