The Most Searched: A Celebration of Black History Makers

As we approach the month of February, it is time for us to celebrate Black History Month. In celebration of this time, Google has made a video highlighting the most searched videos of Black history makers!!!

To be acknowledged for doing anything great in America as a Black American is very far and few. I totally salute Google for changing the regime, and showing America that they see us LOUD, CLEAR, and in 3D!!!

Google briefly explains the reasoning behind this video:

“This Black History Month, we’re celebrating some of #TheMostSearched moments and individuals in America. To find them, we used U.S.-based Google Trends Data to identify Black American achievements that were searched more than any others between January 1, 2004 – when U.S. Search Data first became available – and July 1, 2019. Here’s to the history makers and all those they continue to inspire”

Hey guys!! I had the pleasure to interview such a talented individual who is an Actor, Beatmaker, Writer, Activist, Father & a Husband!!!!!! This individual is a 3x Best Supporting Actor Nominee at the Ohio Indy Fest, Best Actor Nominee at the 2018 Las Vegas Film Fest, currently has a mixtape out called “Crown”, and will be releasing an LP titled “The Black Crown”!!!

I swear I am out of breath just typing this! LOL This talent to whom I speak of name is Brandon X Bell, who also goes by Blackstate, his performing name. I was so excited to do this interview. First, me & him share the same last name so we could be cousins & during the interview I found out that he is a Gemini too!! Please make sure to watch the whole interview below! Hey y’all!!! I swear I love when the month of May comes in with all this lovely spring weather here in the great city of Cleveland!!! Plus, to add….some more new music to bump while y’all enjoy this great weather. One of TDE’s label mates, Schoolboy Q, finally dropped his new project. Per the interview he had with the Breakfast Club he talked of how it took 2 years to work on this album due to the fact he had to literally change his style so to not sound like his previous album. I applaud him for after listening to his album more than once lol you can tell that he was projecting a different type of energy this go around. Trust that it’s worth the listen.
Artist, Blackbear, released a new project that he stated is very sentimental to him. This project talks about when he was still addicted to drugs & alcohol, the highs & lows of his addiction, and after he becomes sober. To best describe this album, I will say that like with drugs the album has its upbeat joints then it has you down joints that makes you really listen to the message Blackbear is trying to convey.
Rico Nasty dropped a VERY hype EP that I know her fans will enjoy and artist, VL Deck, came back with a new project that truly has me taking him serious as an artist, like his project is in my regular rotation now! Check out the other dope releases from Friday!

Hey y’all!! This Good Friday exploded with a lot of new releases! Starting off with Beyonce’s “Homecoming: The Live Album” being released with the arrival of her epic Coachella performance last year on Netflix. Shy Glizzy released a new project titled “Covered N Blood” and is literally covered in blood on the cover! Do you guys remember the group Changing Faces from the back in the 90’s?? They made songs such as “Stroke You Up” and “Other Woman”?? Well…instead of both sisters reprising there group, it’s only Cassandra Lucas with a solo R&B album that brings back that old 90’s feeling with talking about love, heartbreak, and good vibes! I have a lot of independent artists who released projects this week too! Make sure to check them out! They are all dope with their own individual styles & deliveries!!!
