Hey guys! It’s your girl Mz Slimgoody back with my reviews on some of the most recent New Music Friday’s releases!! I hope everyone is doing well…for me…I have my head filled all in music, and working on something new for the Mz Slimgoody brand so make sure to stay tuned!!!

Some of the music I am going to talk about in this post I had to go back and listen to more than once to gain a better perspective of these projects to give a real opinion. Starting with Uncle Snoop!! I call him uncle for I see him as my uncle in my head LOL came out with a dope project last month!

SNOOP DOGG – I WANNA THANK ME

Snoop’s album sounds like a self reflection as well as analyzing the present around him, and putting it into words. Of course Snoop already has a way with words that tells a vivid story so imagine a mature Snoop really breaking his thoughts down on dope beats makes a great project to me!

QUALITY CONTROL – CONTROL THE STREETS VOL.2

If you guys know anything about me you will know that I extremely love the Quality Control label from their structure, marketing, even production!! On this project it starts off with QC’s top hittas the Migos, Lil Yachty, and others..you will start to hear the newbies from the label towards the end of the album…mind you this album has over 20 songs! So you truly had to keep the patience to even get down to hear those tracks LOL Overall I love the project…It’s what I expected to hear from them even though I thought a Migos album would’ve came prior to this, at least this project will keep me patiently waiting until they do! Gucci Mane made a guest appearance on the project complete with dope beats, hard lyrical flow, and even hot girl summer anthems, QC will never lose!

This man right here is tight with the flows, with straight West coast productions, but hard tho!! I swear I will not be quiet about him until I hear people in Cleveland playing his music LOL I was wondering when he was going to come out with something new for the last project was back in 2017!! Thank you RJ for shutting me up! RJ always seems to come with dope features, and with this project you can tell that he has grown or I should say lived life…enough life to have more stories to tell, but with depth starting with the first track “On God” allows you to get ready for a RJ that you didn’t hear from his other projects..oh no… he was making sure that not only his fans will know that he plans on staying!

YOUNG THUG – SO MUCH FUN

I swear there are some artists that no matter what they do…I see nothing wrong!! Young Thug is that guy! For the last year we have been getting to know his Slime partners from Lil Keed to Lil Gotit and others, but kept wondering when will Thugger drop?? God answers all prayers, and sent “So Much Fun”. This prject from beginning to the end is FUN! I mean if I was to throw a party I can add this album to my playlist and I swear the party will start to get LIT! I notice alot of people love the track that has Lil Baby featured on it. This project is truly a must listen, and has already been placed on the charts top 10!!!

This was my first time ever hearing of this group whose project is titled the same name as the group has gained a new fan. Sometimes when you think of 2 guys who seem to be an R&B duo actually come with dope content that everyone can relate to as well as very groovy… I swear you find yourself very intrigued! I started to stalk there Instagram pages an everything LOL I believe this duo may be around for awhile so stay tuned!

Even though the season is over we do expect the Cleveland Fusion to come even harder for the 2020 season!! Until the season starts, we will be sponsoring great events leading up to the final day, and of course we want YOU to be apart of it!!! Are you a current player? The Cleveland Fusion is currently holding mini camps for current and interested players!! The first mini camp was held this past Saturday and the next camp will be Saturday September 21st, from 10am-1pm at the Cudell Recreation Center in Cleveland.

Hiram House Pumpkin Festival
Do you have a weakness for Fall festivals like we do??? If so, the Cleveland Fusion will be at the 48th Annual Hiram House Camp Pumpkin Festival Sunday October 13th from 10am-4pm, we will have a booth set up so come up and meet the SQUAD!! This is a family friendly event with activities including petting farms, crafts, face painting, pumpkin painting, and more!

As get closer to try outs in January, we want to make sure that whoever is interested in trying out for the team is serious! We will love for those future players to come out to Odell Beckham, Jr. Women’s Football Clinic November 15th from 6pm-9:30pm we will have a booth there so come ready for a Q&A session with Odell Beckham Jr., and have an option to get on the field for some non-contact football drills and tests! New Music Fridays

Hey guys!!! I hope everyone’s week is going well! For me….this has been one of the fastest weeks ever that did not include a holiday in it!! LOL I have been checking out a lot of music lately as well as replaying some albums so I can give a better review on them, and with a lot of albums it’s best to listen more than once to truly give a honest opinion. Starting with Drake’s release of singles he has put out before but were never featured on an album that as of 2 weeks ago was #1 on the charts! The album included some favorite singles such as “The Motion” or “Trust Issues” that brought back so many memories from when I used to play those singles 24/7 while being in my emotions…ya know that “Drake feeling”.
OJ Da Juiceman always stays dropping heat for the streets, check out his new project! BJ The Chicago Kid out did himself on this new project!! I found myself replaying & singing along with every song! BJ is so soulful and came with songs that you can relate to especially those relationship type of songs. Lil Durk’s new project is dope! He is giving me that type of feeling that he will be around for a while. I didn’t get hip to him until 2014, but even 5 years later he still got it, and I believe that there is so much more to him.
Rick Ross finally dropped part 2 to his original debut album, and he is currently holding the #1 spot!!! Rick Ross “The BOSS” always comes with his mafia music vibe while revealing more of himself with this album. He spoke on his previous health issues, and regular life struggles that he has been dealing with while also offering fun tracks to vibe to. Sauce Walka has a new project that I can say is decent…I can’t say much for I am wondering if he is trying to come with a more mature style than before. For example, Sauce Walka projects are mainly about pimping, but from what I heard off the recent project I am getting a feeling of him telling stories in a different perspective that still is reminiscent of his original style…I just got to hear more!!
Ugly God & Trippie Redd also dropped!!! I do have to listen more to Trippie’s new project for he is yelling on this album which is different, but refreshing! Trippie always delivers very good work thus far! I just think he is showing his fans a different side which can lead to people with less expectations of what they THINK a Trippie Redd album should be! Ugly God never disappoints, and his style is so different than others…meaning that he has a mixture of dope rhymes & beats, but you must listen to what he say…don’t get caught up with his name!!

Pompano Runna Interview

On the last episode of Hit or Miss Sundays Ms Cream, Dj Raven, Dayson, and I had the pleasure to have artist, Pompano Runna, as a featured guest on our show! During the interview we listened and voted on three dope tracks that sounded completely different from each other, but allowed us to feel the many depths of Pompano. On the track “Cool Young Nigga” I swear we all voted the track as an “hit” all at the same time. I could imagine deceased rapper, Bankroll Fresh on the track. The other 2 tracks we played, “Dedicated” and “Drippin” are dope too! We did have a moment mimicking his Florida slang LOL me and Cream kept saying “whoop de whoo” LOL

Pompano dropped some real gems during the interview to pay attention to, and even tho he rocks out like a rock star, he speaks well enough to be taken serious & to be understood. I have a feeling that we will be hearing more from this artist very soon!! Check out the rest of the interview below!

Dj Raven is not only my cohost on The Hit or Miss Sundays show, he is also an up & coming Dj who is making a name for himself in Cleveland!! Just last Monday, he had the chance to showcase his skills for the WNRV 108.1 World Famous Club Style show which was held at the Nerve Djs Studio!! This live event was hosted by Cleveland’s own Casper Cee, Telace, Tasha Beatz, one of my favorite Djs, Dj Ellery, and Shonny Shon!!!

Dj Raven is an open air type of Dj who can rock any type of party or club as well as be a dope co host too!! Make sure to follow Dj Raven on all social media platforms @djraven216

Hey guys!! It’s your girl Mz Slimgoody and I am back with my list of new releases to check out!!! I have a new way that I will be posting about the new music releases that I like, and I hope you guys will love it, so make sure to stay tuned!!! Trust…that you will be seeing more of my lovely face!!

Now, lets get into this list!!! Since July came in I can say that majority of the music has been pretty lit providing hella fun energy into any situation. Beyonce did a great job with the soundtrack to The Lion King even Blue has made history by being the youngest person to contribute to an album!!! That deserves a major shout out!! Iggy Azalea finally dropped her project since 2014!! It’s not my particular vibe , but very high energy packed with a couple of twerking songs gives the album a decent vibe. Yella Beezy has a nice project especially the song that features Chris Brown on it, y’all do know that anything with Chris Brown on it is guaranteed to make somebody’s charts. I was shocked to find out that the rapper Cassidy had dropped a project, and even more shocked to hear that he still got it!! I was on his Instagram the other day just in awe that he still has the persistence to keep going with dope lyrics to match.

I am a new fan of Burna Boy…he makes that type of African music that resonates with my age group or even younger! I love the vibe of his album, like I can not imagine being in a bad mood while listening to his album. A guy to whom I never heard of before, who goes by the name, NF, has a really nice album out, and I just heard today that he his numbers are pretty high to be somewhat unknown, but once you hear his album you can see why his streaming levels are high! E40 dropped a dope project as if he was back in his prime!!! All the tracks are dope, and he got hella features from some of your favorite artists which makes his album even more enjoyable!

Hey guys!! I had the pleasure to interview such a talented individual who is an Actor, Beatmaker, Writer, Activist, Father & a Husband!!!!!! This individual is a 3x Best Supporting Actor Nominee at the Ohio Indy Fest, Best Actor Nominee at the 2018 Las Vegas Film Fest, currently has a mixtape out called “Crown”, and will be releasing an LP titled “The Black Crown”!!!

I swear I am out of breath just typing this! LOL This talent to whom I speak of name is Brandon X Bell, who also goes by Blackstate, his performing name. I was so excited to do this interview. First, me & him share the same last name so we could be cousins & during the interview I found out that he is a Gemini too!! Please make sure to watch the whole interview below! Dope energy was all in the studio!
